Friendly owner, good food

We just stopped here for drinks and ended up having dinner at the bar. The bartender was fairly new but very engaging and friendly. Lots of locals stopped in during our stay and the bar filled to capacity a couple of times. We met the owner, an older gentleman formally from Greece. He shared his... read more

Ate here after getting to the coast for a 5 day camping trip. The restaurant was EMPTY on a Thursday night but our waitress was good and helpful. When my SIL took her napkin off the bread plate and we all saw the little pink blob of ABC gum we kinda laughed and just asked for a new place and... More

We found this oasis after a full day of flying and while driving to our vacation spot we stumbled on this place. We ordered a meal lovers pizza and a salad. We were starving and the pizza and salad was exactly what we needed. Both were delicious. We returned for dinner to enjoy the William Tell Style Oysters, they were... More

Girlfriend's getaway in Tomales was highlighted with a wonderful dinner & great wine here. I'd come back just for the clam chowder. Excellent!

Nice place. Bar on one side, full dinning room with outdoor patio on the other. Each has its own entrance and enough separation from the other that it's not a problem. Good, simple food in decent portions. Friendly staff.

We were driving up Rt.1 after a long day of sightseeing. Tired and hungry we passed several crowded restaurants before we stopped here. What a great surprise! The Calamari was outstanding, melt in you mouth good! The service was excellent and everyone was friendly and helpful. Very kid friendly!

What an experience , we stumbled on this place and what a pleasant surprise, we ate delicious oysters at the bar, the staff and owner were friendly and shared the history of the place with us, the chef is a big man with a bigger heart who knows how to cook , I look forward to going back soon.

Great time at William Tell House on a Wednesday night with 10 family members. Marcos, the owner, was our host & server, he was short staffed at the last minute. He is a delightful man who is full of stories & history of this very old pub\restaurant. He has renovated the dining area, keeping the bar original. Very nicely done -... More

I used to live a few miles from here on Pepper rd. We used to go here quite often for the prime rib dinners. Best cut of meat ever! It's a huge slab at least an inch thick! Wonderful place to bring the family or friends. Great local hangout also at the bar. This place is over 100 years old.... More
