We'll be looking forward to it! There's a fantastic view of the bay out on the deck, so you'll have to try it out. Until then, I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday! Warmly, Brian, Co-Owner More

After hearing rave reviews from the TA community as well as friends in the bay area I starved my family one recent morning so they would be hungry when we got to Sam's. The hunger strike didn't disappoint and neither did the reviews from fellow reviewers. Excellent spot on the water. It was very quiet despite being busy and the... More

Had a late afternoon snack at Sam's after spending the day at Muir Beach. We sat outdoors, enjoying the excellent crab cakes and margaritas. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We'll be back !

A friend and i ate at Sam's Anchor Cafe after cycling from San Francisco to Tiburon. Tiburon is a lovely little town right on the water. I went for the Dungeness Crab Salad Sandwich which was massive, delicious and great value. Service was excellent. We sat inside as outside was very busy but be wary of seagulls if you sit... More

It sounds like you deserved a tasty sandwich after all that biking, Tom! I'm glad to hear how much you enjoyed it. Sorry about those pesky seagulls, though -- we do all we can to keep them at bay, but they heard about our Dungeness Crab specials and are a little overenthusiastic. Anyways, I hope you'll think of us next... More

Sounds like you and your wife enjoyed a nice afternoon on our patio, John! I'm sorry if the artichoke appetizer was disappointing, though -- that's unusual to hear, so be sure to let your server know if that ever happens in the future. Besides that, though, I'm glad you had such an excellent time! Hope you and your family have... More

Driving into the Tiburon,CA , I see all of the banners commemorating their 50th anniversary as a town. Yea, I have been coming to Sam's for 60 years and it has not changed that much other than a much larger deck . The food is still very good and sitting on the deck and looking at the bay and all... Thanks for coming to see us all these years, Thomas! Sorry about those pesky seagulls, though -- we refuse to serve them because they don't have any money, so sometimes they choose to take it out on our actual customers. We appreciate you putting up with 'em, and we're looking forward to seeing you next time you're in town! 'Til... More

We dropped by for a drink during the late afternoon. The drinks were average, however the setting was very nice. The outdoor seating was filled with many people enjoying themselves. I'd recommend Sam's Anchor Cafe.
