Great breakfast and good dinner

We ate breakfast here 3 times. Each morning it was very good. We ate dinner here twice. The first night the food was very good but the second night it was just ok. Some of the wait staff were very friendly and quite good. Others seemed bored with their job. Overall it's a good restaurant but has... read more

9 of us turned up on a Thursday night. We made a reservation at the last minute and were all impressed by our meals. There were only a couple of servers and they did well considering the number of people in the restaurant.

Had Dinner and lunch here Dec 27 and 28, 2015. The sea food chowder was bland. My Rueben sandwich was dry...both bread and meat. I had coffee grounds in my coffee; how do you screw up coffee? The sweat potato fries came out burnt on two of the three plates...they gave us additional fries but for the price this place... More

i have been here many times over the years. Because of its location and the cost of living there has been turnover in the kitchen as well as service. in the last couple of years it has been trending up and at times quite good. But tonight the service, which may reflect problems in the kitchen, was remarkably slow. And... More

There are not a lot of choices in this area for food, so this might be one of the best. We were there at an odd time between lunch and dinner so we got salads and soup served in the bar area. Not bad, just not great for the high price.

Quite telling when the best thing about a restaurant is the view from the dining room....if dining places were judged solely on view, this restaurant is 5 stars....too bad the food does not match the ambience.. A varied menu offers a variety of choices....at our recent lunch, 1 of 4 in our party enjoyed their meal...the rest of us ate... More

The Lodge restaurant offers a great view in the daytime. It has a second, informal area nearby, with an equally fine view. In the adjacent bar, very good bar dishes such as a flight of tiny tacos are available. Meals I've ordered have always been excellent. Food is fresh, high quality, and carefully prepared. Service is usually extremely good, but... More

We stopped by for lunch the day after Thanksgiving. The short 15-20 minute wait was worth it. The clam chowder was excellent and my daughter's cheeseburger was delish! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The view is always breathtaking and a glass of wine adds to the ambience!!! Add this stop to your itinerary and you won't be disappointed! I can't... More

Breakfast was brilliant at Sea Ranch Lodge, especially when our favorite waitress was on duty and we had the corner table with a panoramic coastline view. Dinner was hit and miss but, remember, location location location! We didn't find anything better nearby.

We had a wonderful couple of meals at the Black Point Grill with outstanding service. I was so stunned at the quality of service, something I have come to no longer expect, that I was take aback. The only negative was that the hostess was a little pushy about our family needing to sit down IMMEDIATELY, especially as we had... More
