My husband and I ate there this past weekend; we were celebrating our anniversary. We got a table with a water view, which was beautiful. The whole meal was excellent, from the setting to the food to the service. We had the fried calamari as an appetizer - the least greasy fried food we'd ever had, though I would suggest... More

We ate here on the first night of our trip, and came back the next night we liked it so much. The food was excellent, and wine selection great. Nice views of the coast as well.

If you are a tourist exploring the North Coast we can see why you would really enjoy this place . . . after all, you are in vacation mode exploring very beautiful country. To start with the view from our perfect table in the restaurant, to the most friendly and knowledgeable waitress we have EVER had and the fabulous food...topped off with a wonderful hike on the headlands AND...a wonderful gift shop where we bought me a very chic sweater/jacket ,slims denims and gloves that I needed for the cold weather...what a wonderful,... The northern California coastline is rugged and wild with cold breezes and glorious sunsets. To dine without a view of this spectacular scenery is unthinkable. At Black Point Grille at Sea Ranch, expansive windows overlooking the grassy knolls and rolling waves provide the backdrop for a memorable meal. During our visit, the menu was brand new so the server wasn’t... More

With so few restaurant choices in The Sea Ranch area, we really wanted to love this, but it was not to be. We were there on the week end and had made reservations for Sunday night. Our server, Jennifer, was friendly and efficient, but the food just didn't measure up. I had a nice, but not spectacular salad and the... More

Five of us had a reservation here on a Monday night. Once we were seated after waiting to be acknowledged for 5-10 minutes, we waited again for over 5 minutes to even have menus brought to the table and then again to take our drink orders. They weren't extremely busy but I think that one waitress was covering all of... More

The food was ah-mazing!! I had the ravioli and my friend had the beef stroganoff - both were delicious. The key lime pie for dessert was incredible.. save some room!! The restaurant had a lovely view of the sunset. You won't be disappointed if you go dine here!

We dined here on October 9th, having rented a vacation house at The Sea Ranch, we made a reservation well in advance. Apparently, the place was swamped with walk-ins, so we were told to wait (and didn't even get a drink). When seated, we continued to wait quite some time to get wine. It took them a while to find... A friend and I had dinner here on Labor Day. The atmosphere is nothing to brag about--the view to the ocean is OK but since we were staying in a rental home that was right on a bluff overlooking the water, views from the Black Point were ho-hum. If you sometimes judge a restaurant by first impressions, then don't look... More
