This restaurant is a real gem. Located on Main Street across from a five-story granary, it is a family-run restored 1890s saloon, with very high ceilings with tin plate, a long bar, dim lighting, and comfortable booth seating. The food is stellar! We had shrimp tempura as an appetizer, 6 large shrimp with a delicious peanut sauce. We were warned... More

This restaurant maintains its high standards year after year. The food is as good as it was when we visited last year. Great value for your money, most tasty food.

To start, the service was outstanding. The waitress was friendly, accommodating, genuine and really made use feel like we were old friends or family that had come to visit. The food was even better. My wife had the steak that was cooked to perfection and I had the blue cheese burger. Both were superb.

We have been celebrating special events at McPhee's for years. Recently took friends from Oklahoma to dinner and it was, as always, fabulous. The menu has something for everyone, and we all ordered different entrees to share. Steak, salmon, ribs and halibut paired with different types of salads. Started with our favorite appetizer, warm goat cheese and garlic with olive... More

I have been going to McPhees since he opened the doors. It never dissapoints. From the attentive service - you know the kind, empty plates dissapear but you don't notice because they are that good. Our server knew her stuff and was helpful and friendly. My favorite appetizer EVER is the Tempura Shrimp dish. Sometimes, I order it as a... More

I have been here twice; the first time many years ago. First the good stuff… Our table for 10 was ready when we arrived. We were promptly seated. The owner/chef was there with smiles and greetings. The service was superb: knowledgeable, timely, friendly. The food was very good. But… is there an identity crisis going on? Is this the place... More

Yes, it is delicious and generous. And it is a bit odd to be so good (and so expensive) in a decidedly low-brow location. Service was excellent and very friendly. I felt like I was cared for like an in-law they liked. But I couldn't get past the town's appearance. They had cattle yards as you drove in off the... More

Wonderful service and food. Wonderful food on menu with a fabulous wine selection. Felt like it was somewhere that I go to each weekend.

My husband and I shared the porterhouse steak. 32 ounces - which seems crazy! But my guess is that it was 16-20 ounces of meat and rest was bone. Perfect amount and perfectly cooked! Asian salad and Gemma salads were unique and very tasty. 4 others in our party and every one was pleased.

The service was excellent and the food was prepared very well. The quality of the food was exceptional. The portions are average to small, and it's WAY overpriced. You will not getting a bad meal here, it's just not a great value.
