My husband and I shared the porterhouse steak. 32 ounces - which seems crazy! But my guess is that it was 16-20 ounces of meat and rest was bone. Perfect amount and perfectly cooked! Asian salad and Gemma salads were unique and very tasty. 4 others in our party and every one was pleased.

The service was excellent and the food was prepared very well. The quality of the food was exceptional. The portions are average to small, and it's WAY overpriced. You will not getting a bad meal here, it's just not a great value.

We stopped here for lunch while touring the Paso Robles wineries. We had eaten here many years ago, shortly after Ian McPhee moved his restaurant from Cambria. It is sort of a mandatory stop if you spend any time in the area. The building is an old square affair that looks its age. Inside, the ceiling is covered in copper,... More

Always have to go to McPhee's when we are in town. Great food, wine, and ambiance. Charming town which is growing every time we visit. Fun to stop in the hardware store next door too!

This is my favorite hometown restaurant. They recently put in a pizza oven! You must try the "pig and fig". This is my go to place for birthdays, holidays or just lunch! Never disappointed.

We didn't know anything about McPhee's when our innkeeper recommended it on a recent weekend trip to Paso Robles. We were seated immediately upon arriving. Our server Nicholas was thorough and attentive, able to answer our questions with authority and confidence. The wine list was well balanced, and the menu was varied enough to satisfy our tastes. My husband and... More

Have been going here (in Cambia before they moved also) for over 12 years, but MAYBE NO MORE!! My husband and I went for lunch today. Host was extremely stressed and seemed overworked and unfriendly (they were busy). Our server was the same timid young woman we have had before (awhile ago though). We specifically asked for fries as an... More

Over priced, had the rib eye steak, it was about a half inch thick, smothered in some kind of hot ranchero sauce, the mashed potatoes were also hot, and then the other side dish is a pepper stuffed with goat cheese... No green salad, that's an extra charge. This place is really over priced for what you get, and then... More

Tonight we had a pleasant experience having dinner at McPhee's. The staff and the food were excellent.
