What a wonderful lunch!

Stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, the burgers smelled amazing! We started with the warm brie drizzled with honey and walnuts, it was wonderful. My husband had the burger with a stuffed poblano pepper, nothing short of WOW! I had the cafe champagne salad with shrimp and a flight of... read more

Love the views and the food is always good. Cozy, warm decor inside. Service is always friendly. Wine tasting selections offered at the table. Outside dining available. Covered and enclosed when weather calls for it. Special dining events for major holidays. Herb garden on property for chef use. All lunch sandwiches and salads could be easily be shared by two.... Came here with friends for a Sunday Brunch. Wonderful setting and atmosphere. Restaurant was sort of small and tables close together indoor. Outdoor seating wasn't available due to the chilly weather. Menu options were good, not great. Friends ordered cheeseburgers which looked big and delicious. I ordered a crab-avocado omelet that was flat, skimpy, and disappointing. The boring side potatoes were... More

My husband and I were wine tasting in Temecula and thought it would be nice to have lunch at the cafe. It lived up to all our expectation including my husband creating a flight of wine from the wine list served to him while we enjoyed our meal. The service was impeccable; and the food was delicious. A great place... More

Yep, stopped in for some vino. This place looks really nice. Hmmm... thewine... I'm horrible with wines so I won't say much helpful about these drinks other than they certainly taste wine like. I don't smell any cherry or nectarine; I don't taste any strawberry, orange rind or oak; How is wine supposed to taste "velvety"? I do like this... More

We joined the wine club and you get 2 free flights PER DAY! What a bargain! We had dinner in the restaurant (with a wine club discount) and everything was terrific. We also had an appetizer (with our wine club discount) with our flights another day on the patio. The artichoke appetizer is REALLY good!!! Service everywhere on the property... More

Middle of the week, came early and we got to pick the table, indoor or outdoor (enclosed outdoor). Had a great view of the Vineyards from the front windows, the food was spectacular the Steak was seasoned and tender, the fish was tasty too. You can get 4 tasting of wine from around $20 each that is an added bonus!

I wish I could have that wonderful lunch again! :) We were a party of six; we all got different things for lunch, and all were wonderful. We sat outside (covered), and you could think you were in Tuscany -- so beautiful. If you go, you HAVE TO have the brie!; we all shared it.

We enjoyed a Sunday morning brunch at the Café Champagne in the Thornton Winery. The weather cooperated beautifully with mild temps and a slight overcast that allowed us to enjoy our breakfast in the outside patio. The specialties included a complimentary glass of champagne and that was nice touch. The patio tables are spaced nicely allowing plenty of room and... More

My wife and I and 3 other couples - very good friends, had lunch at Cafe Champagne before doing the wine tasting at Thornton Winery. The food and service were terrific and most of us had different kinds of their wonderful champagne. I had a flight of 5 different kind of delicious champagne. A very enjoyable experience.
