Made reservations 2 weeks in advanced and were seated outside in the hot sun eaten alive by flies!! Sad since I had my 85 year old parents. I asked to be moved inside and they said no . Food was terrible! The frittata was burned with 2 small pieces of steak! Hamburgers were dry. Manager did nothing for us. I... More

We chose to celebrate my mother's 75th birthday at cafe champagne. After talking and e-mailing with two people, we were supposed to get a private winery tour and a champagne tasting. I was told to eat inside as it is fancier. When we arrived, they knew it was a birthday celebration, gave my mother a free glass if champagne, but... More

We had been told to eat at this restaurant by many people so we gave it a shot. It's in the Thornton Winery and the signs along the road boasts it has the best burgers in town. Okay, so we didn't try the burgers but the Salad I had was excellent and the Strip Sandwich my husband had was delicious.... More

This was one of the first restaurants we tried after we relocated here from the NE. We love the menu and tapas are always delicious. I usually only drink their champagne because it is so delicious but they have other wines that are also good. We use to attend the Jazz shows with lunch back in the 90's but now... More

The food & the view is exceptional, however as a 27 year Temecula resident we do not dine here often... Too pricey for what the restaurant offers.

Good food, good location, over priced. The facility seems a little tired and restroom needs an update.

Met friends for relaxing lunch, which we totally enjoyed as they never rushed us or our food. Relaxed with wine, then enjoyed cheeseburgers and shrimp sandwiches, while catching up. Delightful place, beautiful views and friendly service.

This is by far one of the best restaurants in the Temecula Valley area. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it for what you get. All gourmet. They grow their own herbs for the dishes. Much recommended.

This review is only for the Happy Hour at this location. On Friday and Saturday from 6-9, they have Happy Hour at this winery. It is one of the few wineries open after 5 in the Temecula wine country. They will even let you use wine tasting coupons for their Happy Hour. Most of their wines are $6 a glass... More

We ate lunch at the Thornton Winery restaurant while looking for a venue for a group event next year. The setting is lovely with great vineyard views. The food was a great surprise as both entrees were delicious, well prepared and presented. I had the short rib sliders which were served on cheddar cheese buns with accompanying house made cole...
