Here, we're in the business of Steak. Real Steak. Not the cookie cutter, run of the mill stuff. Our steak is our passion, and the only reason we're here is to show you what you've been missing out on. We've built our own dry-aging facility to completely control the outcome of our steaks. Everything here has been meticulously tweaked and tinkered to bring out the best in the meat. Only when it's reached it's peak flavor potential do we prep our cuts for cooking. Our expert chefs work the fire and the forks to ensure that perfect cook. Then it gets to your table. When that fork first pierces the meat, and that knife slices through in that first cut, your eyes get to feast first at that juicy pink center. Then, it's just bite after bite, letting that perfect cook release the flavor of perhaps the best steak you've ever had. At least, we'd like to think so. We're just a call or a drive away.

Great Food But Pricey

From out of town visiting friends in Temecula and went here with them for a nice dinner on a Fri night. Restaurant is nicer on inside than it looks on outside. Pianist was playing great music..fire in fireplace...very relaxing, warm atmosphere. Everything ordered (Chilean sea bass, sirloin steak... read more

Outstanding food, Great service! The aged steaks go great with the surf options. Very nice night club atmosphere with the appropriate live music. Surf and turf plates are below $50! I live in Las Vegas and travel a lot to DC, Chicago, Dallas etc and Vail competes with all of them. They are open on Mondays.

We ordered steaks, two salads and calamari and each of us 2 drinks and for the excellent quality of the food the price was reasonable.

Thank your friends for us -- we love when we get to serve out-of-town guests! It sounds like you and your friends had a really great experience with us, and we're delighted to hear that. So sorry for the confusion about the salads. We'll be sure to clarify next time. Thank you for the review, The Waltons, Owners More

In town for a one-night stopover: We thoroughly enjoyed the piano in the bar and staff who were genuinely personable and attentive. We shared a traditional filet and a new ahi menu item, and both were delicious and perfectly prepared. A very nice dining experience overall, great vibe, and thank you to our server, Eric, and the lady bartender who... More

My "Caesar salad" ($12) consisted of coarsly chopped romaine lettuce and 3 slices of shaved parmesan cheese. No anchovies, no croutons, nothing. It was a side salad size at entree prices. My friend's hamburger ($18!!) was one of the cheapest things on the menu and was something that you'd get for about $10 in San Francisco. The service, though friendly,... More

Jennie, we'd like to personally apologize if you felt our food wasn't worth the price. We serve only the highest quality ingredients, so it's surprising that you feel this way. As for the service, there's no excuse for slow and unhelpful. It really seems that you caught us on a bad day, because this isn't the norm for us at... More

From the outside, Vail Ranch looks like a typical strip mall steak house. Another example of why you should not judge a book by its cover. I went inside, alone on a Monday night, and was greeted with a piano player, a lively lounge and a packed restaurant with a really interesting menu. Service was attentive and the food was... More

We had spent the day wine tasting in Temecula and was looking for a nice place for dinner. Since it was a Monday, much was open so we gave Vail Ranch as try. The service was very, very good and the restaurant has a really nice atmosphere. There was a jazz singer that was kind of hokey and a little... More

My husband wanted a good steak so we decided to try the Vail Ranch Steak House after hearing positive reviews. It was a Tuesday evening and while he called for a reservation, it really wasn't necessary. We got there at 5:00 and there were plenty of tables available. The hostess was nice and asked us if we were celebrating a... More

We stopped in this restaurant for a salad and wound up ordering their prime rib. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a piano bar playing in the background. Not much of a crowd for a Wednesday night and though the staff certainly was courteous, our server was a bit robotic and seemed to be tired and just going through the... More

While we are pleased that you found our restaurant well-decorated and our staff courteous, we are truly disappointed that you found our food average.
