Here, we're in the business of Steak. Real Steak. Not the cookie cutter, run of the mill stuff. Our steak is our passion, and the only reason we're here is to show you what you've been missing out on. We've built our own dry-aging facility to completely control the outcome of our steaks. Everything here has been meticulously tweaked and tinkered to bring out the best in the meat. Only when it's reached it's peak flavor potential do we prep our cuts for cooking. Our expert chefs work the fire and the forks to ensure that perfect cook. Then it gets to your table. When that fork first pierces the meat, and that knife slices through in that first cut, your eyes get to feast first at that juicy pink center. Then, it's just bite after bite, letting that perfect cook release the flavor of perhaps the best steak you've ever had. At least, we'd like to think so. We're just a call or a drive away.

Surprising Find

From the outside, Vail Ranch looks like a typical strip mall steak house. Another example of why you should not judge a book by its cover. I went inside, alone on a Monday night, and was greeted with a piano player, a lively lounge and a packed restaurant with a really interesting menu. Service was... read more

We had spent the day wine tasting in Temecula and was looking for a nice place for dinner. Since it was a Monday, much was open so we gave Vail Ranch as try. The service was very, very good and the restaurant has a really nice atmosphere. There was a jazz singer that was kind of hokey and a little... More

My husband wanted a good steak so we decided to try the Vail Ranch Steak House after hearing positive reviews. It was a Tuesday evening and while he called for a reservation, it really wasn't necessary. We got there at 5:00 and there were plenty of tables available. The hostess was nice and asked us if we were celebrating a... More

Carol, we are honored that you chose us to meet your husband's steak craving! Thank you so much for this thorough review. We are really proud of our dry-aged beef, so it's fantastic that you were such a fan. We appreciate the feedback about the amaretto -- we'll definitely take note. Again, thank you so much for the kind words.... More

We stopped in this restaurant for a salad and wound up ordering their prime rib. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a piano bar playing in the background. Not much of a crowd for a Wednesday night and though the staff certainly was courteous, our server was a bit robotic and seemed to be tired and just going through the... More

While we are pleased that you found our restaurant well-decorated and our staff courteous, we are truly disappointed that you found our food average. The comments you made about your prime rib and salad are certainly not the norm for us -- perhaps you caught us on a bad night? Sorry we're just now getting to this, but we'd really... More

My husband and I went there for dinner hoping to have prime rib we were told over the phone that they served it everyday when we arrived we were told sorry its only served on Friday and Saturday. Cindy, first off, we'd like to apologize for the miscommunication about the prime rib. Our website states that we only serve it Friday and Saturday, but the person you spoke with on the phone must have misunderstood. We can understand how frustrating it may be to not receive the steak you hoped for, but it's not often that we receive... More

The place looked good, a good steak sounded GREAT, the atmosphere was clean and inviting, but reality was it turned out to be a huge disappointment! The food was only average, the "JUMBO" add on shrimp I ordered with my steak were barely larger than popcorn shrimp, the steak was not very memorable, the service was really slow (and I... More

First of all, we'd like to apologize for taking so long to respond -- we're just now getting more active on review sites. Second, we want to apologize for this unpleasant experience. It's really unfortunate that our food wasn't your thing. However, we assure you that your server was not drinking -- we would never condone that. Hope all is... More

We walked in to be welcomed by a meat display in a large glass refrigerated case. We were salivating before we got to the table. The Scotch on the rocks was a nice pour and there was a good selection of wines to accompany the dinner. We were surprised at how many patrons were already seated at 6:15 p.m. By... More

Lorraine, first of all, we'd like to apologize for being late to respond to this. We are just now getting more active on review sites, which leads me to my second point. The steak had flavor in every bite. I went of the reservation and had the chicken. Full of flavor as well. Our server Steven was pleasant and witty. We will definitely return.
