Worth the price

I'm not going to lie, this place is expensive, but totally worth it. The prime rib was exceptional as was the porterhouse steak. The veggies were delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Service was fantastic. It is incredibly pricey, but the quality of the food, the presentation and the... read more

SECRETS..... get the 10oz filet, for only 10% more $ you get over 20% more steak , take it home and make a killer sandwich.. NOW also, I had it cooked med-rare BUT had it served on a HOT granit slab, so while I sliced it every bite was hot, had them warm up the bernaise, YUM, also tried the... More

Went for a Anniversary dinner, got treated like royalty. Had a Rasberry Lemon drop cocktail and the Husband had Malbec. The cocktail was mixed to perfection! The 1st glass of Malbec was a tad old, the 2nd was wonderful. We had the French. Onion Soup (hope you like cheese) and a Ceasar Wedge salad (sounds weird but the Hub loves... More

We read on the website that this place had a dress code, so we thought that it would be the kind of place we might want to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. Seated at our table, we looked around and noticed that the three folks at the table next to us were all in t-shirts. So much for dress code.... More

We dined at the Great Oak at Pechanga for my husband's birthday this week. We were fortunate enough to get Gail, as our waitress (our opinion, she is the best waitress out there and have had her before). Gail ensured, as always, everything was done to perfection from the water being served to the outstanding plate of birthday desserts. We... More

How much cost and effort would it take to make a $49.50 New York steak look more appealing on its plate? I know steak houses generally want you to buy their salads, sides, starches on the side for at least $8 a piece but if you choose not to have one couldn't they do something to make the steak look... I boycott casinos because of rude folks from Asia, but this is the best meal I have ever had. I held my breath when doing a dash thru the smoke filled confusion called Pechanga. Wow whatta meal! Great service and wonderful food. Not a football fan but several NFL stars were there.

I ate dinner here last nigh for the first timet for my 59th birthday and for the most part I was very pleased, especially the service. We arrived at 5 P.M., when they open, so we didn't have to wait at all for a table. Our server was Melinda who did an excellent job and is a very nice person.... More

This was our first time at Great Oak. We were surprised at how wonderful this steakhouse was, especially being inside the casino. Ambiance was very nice and menu selections were very appetizing. Our service was just 'ok'. We went all out and ordered appetizers, salads, steaks and desert! Everything was delicious. Our steak were very tender and seared just right.... More

Very good food, and attentive service, but it could use a remodel to upgrade the ambience and atmosphere.
