PUBlic House roosts in the heart of Old Town Temecula among rustic, nostalgic buildings. Since 2009, we have served the finest fare in a truly unique restored home from the 1950s. PUBlic House is discreet at first glance. As you walk up to our hosts you only just hear the life music and busy, joyful activity tucked out back awaiting you. This aspect of PUBlic House always makes dining an intimate rendezvous. Whether you are having a sweet heart-to-heart in the patio garden or catching up with friends on the balcony, PUBlic House romances with charm.

Our customers describe PUBlic House as "Chill" and "Funky Cool". It's true, Fridays through Sundays you will rock the rhythm of live music 'til the wee hours. Staff say Sundays are especially relaxing due to the clientele vibe and live acoustic music. Throughout the year, PUBlic House's patio garden remains relaxing with the hum of friends and family dining on fine food and drink that uncommonly delight them. You enjoy dining in many different seasons. So, in steamy summers the balcony and patio garden sparkle with mist. In winters we get it toasty with outdoor heaters and warm, rich menu items. Welcome to the family!

Great gastropub

Food is phenomenal. They have a seafood chowder right now that is a melody of deliciousness. The menu rotates with the seasons. Also, they have items that rotate weekly. Plus, they're constantly innovating with their staples. Beer menu is always rotating. Always something new to try for the... read more

Visited again on Jan 2, 2016. this was my 4th visit. Staff seemed to be going through the motions, and the foods was just so so. Sat inside for the first time, and it is cozy. Better on the patio, weather permitting. Normally love this place.

Have eaten at the Public House several times and have never been disappointed. The food is plentiful, delicious and interesting. Each time I have been there the service has been fantastic with servers willing to offer the best suggestions on what to eat and never ending refills of ice tea! The inside is very small and crowded but during nice... More

Old Town Temecula's Public House is one of our favorite night out or late afternoon dining options. The Mac and Cheese is always different, served at market prices, and is a must order every time we go. Inventive menu, local craft beer, wine, entertainment. All in all, a must go.

Good food and a great beer selection. It's mosty outdoors so it can get chilly. They have live music in the evenings, and some pretty cool fire pits.

We've been to Temecula a handful of times and usually pay a visit to the Public House. We come to enjoy the atmosphere and unique food. However, our last visit was disappointing. The customer service was very poor. The host was about to seat us, menus in hand when a reservation walked in behind us. She immediately put our menus... More

My husband and another couple were just out to have drinks on New years day evening and sat inside because it was so cold outside. They did have some fire pits outside that would be very nice on a not so cold night. There was a nice beer selection and we enjoyed the company and the music was great. We... More

Love the seasonal menu. The salads I add a stead or chicken to and make a complete meal. Desserts are amazing and never disappoint. Music at night on weekends is lovely atmosphere. This is my favorite place in Old Town for lunch with friends.

Great mac and cheese, seafood chowder, ambiance. Live music--yay! We were a large group, seated outside for the music, but the long gas fireplace warmed our bones and those of our Florida family. Wish more places offered live music in the evenings.

Good gastropub food, good waitress, Val. She greeted us promptly even though it was busy and made sure we had everything we needed. We sat outside which in better weather would have been lovely, but was still nice. We had a pretty big lunch so we shared some dishes and everything was delicious. I don't normally care for Gnocchi, but... More
