PUBlic House roosts in the heart of Old Town Temecula among rustic, nostalgic buildings. Since 2009, we have served the finest fare in a truly unique restored home from the 1950s. PUBlic House is discreet at first glance. As you walk up to our hosts you only just hear the life music and busy, joyful activity tucked out back awaiting you. This aspect of PUBlic House always makes dining an intimate rendezvous. Whether you are having a sweet heart-to-heart in the patio garden or catching up with friends on the balcony, PUBlic House romances with charm. Our customers describe PUBlic House as "Chill" and "Funky Cool". It's true, Fridays through Sundays you will rock the rhythm of live music 'til the wee hours. Staff say Sundays are especially relaxing due to the clientele vibe and live acoustic music. Throughout the year, PUBlic House's patio garden remains relaxing with the hum of friends and family dining on fine food and drink that uncommonly delight them. You enjoy dining in many different seasons. So, in steamy summers the balcony and patio garden sparkle with mist. In winters we get it toasty with outdoor heaters and warm, rich menu items. Welcome to the family!

Great addition to Temecula old town.

I've eaten here three times and the food has been consistently excellent. Service is also very good. The lunch menu could use some work as the entree prices are the same as at dinner. I've eaten here three times and the food has been consistently excellent. Service is also very good. The lunch menu could use some work as the entree prices are the same as at dinner. Wine selection is excellent. The specialty macaroni and cheese dishes are a real treat. Eating outside is recommended as it gets noisy indoors.

Went here after being recommended as the place for a burger. Not disappointed at all. The Kobe Burger, I was informed would only be cooked to a maximum of 'medium' as anymore would destroy the meat, obviously quite serious about their burgers, and after having one I can see why, it was huge, awesome, tender, juicy and any other superlatives you... Met 2 girlfriends for lunch before a weekend of wine tasting in the Temecula valley. Decided to try Public House because of the reviews. Sigh. Loved the vibe and the outdoor patio seating area. We started with the fennel fries and they were good..hot, crisp, flavorful. That was the highlight of the meal. Service was inattentive at best. Long wait... More

Went here based on a recommendation of a colleague. Highly recommended. Server was knowledgeable and attentive. Took his recommendation for the brussels sprout appetizer which proved delicious. Had the seared Romaine salad with pork belly, very very tasty and right portion size. Recommend this place as a casual eating experience in old town Temecula.

Dined here on a Saturday night, the place was packed and there was about a 30-minute wait, which was fine because we enjoyed a round of wine at the bar before having dinner. The service was good, the atmosphere was fun, and the food was delicious. Upscale casual, outdoor seating and bar food that was a step above.

Had been waiting awhile to try this restaurant in old town. It is located on a bit of a side street off front street. From the front it looks like a very small tavern type restaurant with a front porch. However once you enter if you chose to sit on the patio you will be surprised at how big the... More

We found Public House on Trip Advisor and decided to try it for lunch. We did have to wait about 10 or 15 minutes to be seated. While we were waiting two ladies were trying to order truffle fries to go. The hostess said they don't do take out during the weekend. They then replied that they had ordered takeout... More

Last night my husband, my best friend and I had dinner here, and we all loved it! We ordered a Corned Beef Sandwich, a Kobe Burger and the Wild Mushroom Pasta, and we spilt a Caesar Salad between the three of us for starters. Starting with the salad, the dressing had a wonderful balance of flavors, and the blending of... More
