My wife and I visited the public house for dinner when we visited Temecula, we were blown away by the quality of the food, the lovely staff and the pleasant setting. The next day we were still talking about it so we went back for lunch and were again greatly impressed by great food and good wine. This place is... More

Stopped here for drinks and an appetizer right after a wine tour. Love the goat cheese bruschetta. Festive and wait staff were great.

Plenty of choices for food and drink. Kobe beef burgers and very fresh, unique ingredients that change daily depending upon availability. I had a vegetable empanada that was fantastic.

This place has fresh food and attentive staff, but that's all I can say positive about our recent visit. I should have known when the menu was difficult to read. I usually have an idea what I want to eat or that I want to be adventurous. The menu is all the same print, so it was hard to pick... More

I recently went to this restaurant with a friend and I must say that I was not impressed. The ambience and the service was nice but the food was very bland. The rosemary chicken plate was something that I could have made. It was a very boring chicken with hardly any spices. The pasta was also very bland tasted like... More

Some friend took us to this place on a Saturday night and after reading some of the reviews I didn't know what to expect. The public house is just that a converted home in touristy area and at first seemed a bit disorganised but after quickly getting a table and very nice margarita I felt very comfortable and ready for... On a recommendation from the tour guides at South Coast we went to Public House for their burger and fries. We wish we had one of these in our home town. The Kobe burger was done perfectly and was placed on a toasted brioche bun with fixings on the side. The burger was run down your arm mouth watering juicy.... More

The flavors here are intense. That goes both for the food and ambiance. Like everyone else says about this place -- splurge a little and get the goat toast. If you are not starving you can get by with sharing the pasta dish after that. The chocolate creme brulee is incredible. My wife and I ate here two nights in... More

Nice updated menu that was sophisticated but not too fussy. Good local wine choices and more regional ones as well. Goat cheese/tomato/bread appetizer was amazing. Nightly fish special was great. Wait staff good and let us split plates. I'd go back for sure. P.S. You could smell the separate outdoor bathrooms when entering the restaurant and while speaking with he... More

This restaurant has a great old world feel. I feel as though the buildings were original. The menus are printed on old school brown paper. It's a good menu that reads plain but the good is anything but that. Try the Prime Rib or the Mac and Cheese. Both are great!
