PUBlic House roosts in the heart of Old Town Temecula among rustic, nostalgic buildings. Since 2009, we have served the finest fare in a truly unique restored home from the 1950s. PUBlic House is discreet at first glance. As you walk up to our hosts you only just hear the life music and busy, joyful activity tucked out back awaiting you. This aspect of PUBlic House always makes dining an intimate rendezvous. Whether you are having a sweet heart-to-heart in the patio garden or catching up with friends on the balcony, PUBlic House romances with charm. Our customers describe PUBlic House as "Chill" and "Funky Cool". It's true, Fridays through Sundays you will rock the rhythm of live music 'til the wee hours. Staff say Sundays are especially relaxing due to the clientele vibe and live acoustic music. Throughout the year, PUBlic House's patio garden remains relaxing with the hum of friends and family dining on fine food and drink that uncommonly delight them. You enjoy dining in many different seasons. So, in steamy summers the balcony and patio garden sparkle with mist. In winters we get it toasty with outdoor heaters and warm, rich menu items. Welcome to the family!

Absolutely great

The Pasta Di Nero was amazing, and the Whimm Mac N' Cheese was great too. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

YUUUM. Brie starter, grilled bread yum, big ol chunk of warmed brie and cream cheese, yummy apricot , the bitter lettuce adds great balance, very sexy appitiser. Kobe burger is always awesom. This time I tried the Chicken lemon sauce, kinda like a piccatta, the special capers even had the stems wayy fun, I had garlic added and to my... More

The concierge at the hotel reccomended this restaurant and we bought her a bottle of wine to show our appreciation! Fabulous lunch and dinner menu which changes weekly. We were there for lunch and had a hard time deciding between the Kobi burger and the Reuben sandwich. Don't miss this sandwich! Share it with a friend as it is huge!... More

Public House is one of my favorite restaurants in Old Town. The menu is new American cuisine with entrees priced $14 to $36 (steak). I believe the menu changes 4 times per year and is seasonally oriented. One of my favorite entrees is the Kobe Burger (about $17). 10 ounces of Kobe beef topped with a variety of toppings and... Enjoyed lunch there today. Our lunch experience started off poorly but ended GREAT!!!! My daughter ordered the Soyrizo Tacos and she enjoyed them. I ordered the Ceviche and was disappointed. It was extremely salty. I alerted Brett to the fact and he took care of it immediately. Unfortunately somehow when it was prepared it got over salted. He assured me... More

We have sat in the front outside to eat & people watch and have also sat in the back patio all nice. We always get their huge Angus Burger and wonder how we are going to eat the whole thing or sometimes we just split one, always good food.

Stopped in Old Town last night for a quick bite and saw Public House. The food is out of this world good, they learned our names, and used them, the hostess sold the place with such heart we just had to go. The kobe burger is huge and, frankly, the best burger ever. The "Veg" was a delight and worth... More

What a perfect place to relax after a day of wine tasting! Don't miss the bleu cheese Kobe beef burger! Great selection of beers and fantastic fries and onion rings. Expect a wait during weekend meal times, but it's well worth the wait!

We have been here several times and it has never disappointed. Yes, at times you have to wait but I am telling you the food is worth the wait! The must try is the reuben sandwich! Service is always on point...
