I took some family members to this wonderfully located restaurant, and we walked through the beautiful flowers and lushly growing vineyard to the restaurant. We were seated outside on a lovely patio......and that is when the good experience stopped. The service was slow, sporadic and impersonal. The food, when it arrived was minus a pizza which my daughter had ordered,... More

Our server was a real professional - moved us indoors when it got a bit cool outside- seemed genuinely concerned for our comfort and served us quickly in spite of large wedding crowds in restaurant at the same time.

Sitting on the deck overlooking vineyards, gardens, and the winery, the Vineyard Rose is a pleasant place to park for lunch. We split a bottle of South Coast Sauvignon Blanc, crisp, citrusy, and delicious. The salads were fresh and tasty as was the pulled pork sandwich, but we didn’t find the menu to be inspired. Service was friendly although server... More

I had an overnite at the winery & arrived before wine tour so decided to have lunch at the bar. Menu options were limited & it seemed no matter what you ordered was 30 minutes. Really for a grilled cheese? It took between 15-20 minutes. Sandwich was really good w/side of roasted tomato soup. Friend had chicken sandwich was good.... More

We had dinner and breakfast at the Vineyard Rose. We enjoyed dinner very much. The food was wonderful but we especially enjoyed listening to the guitarist. The music brought great ambiance to the place.

Have been here twice, both times were very good. Seemed more formal, but I was ok wearing shorts. Wide menu selection for both food and wine. Great place for a romantic dinner (or lunch!)

Yesterday (Monday) we visited the restaurant at the South Coast Winery. We had an unexpected weekday off, so we decided to take advantage and have a late lunch during the non-rush hours. What a mistake. We knew that the atmosphere was lovely -- lots of blooming plants, sunshine, and a light breeze. Surprisingly, there was a lunch menu with entrees... More

Ate lunch at the restaurant after our Behind the scenes winery tour. Good grill cheese and soup for vegetarians. Nice portion to share if you're having a snack. Price is average.

Beautiful winery and grounds, we had lunch in the restaurant and had excellent service. The wine tasting room is fun. Enjoyed shopping in their gift shop. Close to other wineries for touring also.

This restaurant is huge! You walk in and it feels like you're going to an all-you-can-eat buffet in Vegas. Atmosphere could use some work. I ordered scallops with risotto, hubby ordered filet. My risotto was not prepared right, and it was crunchy and runny at the same time. Scallops were pretty and fairly yummy. Filet was fine. We went here... More
