We were looking forward to a great fish dinner and were shocked to see it closed up. Sign says it will reopen in the fall A's Blue Water Grill.

We dine here & the Fish house Vera Cruz in San Marcos regularly. The menu is a bit on the pricier side, but as a flight attendant- I dine @ great Fish restaurants around the world ... This is what great seafood would cost!! ALWAYS the freshest of fish & the servers are so very pleasant & attentive.

We had an excellent fresh grilled fish dinner here. The side salad was fresh and beautifully presented. The fish was Grilled over mesquite wood expertly. I had the wahoo and my wife had white bass, both were great, the restaurant is a bit older but the fish is top notch.

Went last night with husband. Ordered the "jumbo" shrimp cocktail.... Their idea of jumbo leaves a lot to be desired. They were medium at best and overcooked. I ordered the fish house pasta with shrimp. Pasta was mushy and the shrimp were overcooked. My husband ordered the halibut and shrimp kabob. He said the halibut was really good. And his... More

Just went on Dec 28th - had the blue nose sea bass with rice and veggie. Husband had the regular sea bass with cheese potatoe and veggie. He also had the fish chowder. We had wine and bloody marys. All were good. Service was prompt and friendly. I'd recommend for a relaxing meal (we were there around 7pm and I... More

I have been a Fish House Vera Cruz customer for many years. When my boys were young we would travel from Temecula to San Marcos for a great fish meal. When they opened a store in Temecula we were delighted. In the beginning the Temecula store was every bit as good as the San Marcos store. But over the years... More

Since moving to the East Coast 15 years ago...my first time back tonight was the best as I remember. The shrimp on a skewer was great...rice pilaf and potato was the best. The melted butter is a keeper. I ate every bite as did my aunt and uncle who ate with me. I read some reviews that made me wonder... More

When visiting the Fish House Vera Cruz we were really craving some good fish and really was wanting the biggest and the best. While the food was ok the portions were very small and the salad offerings were very limited. When going to a fish house you would think that they would have selections which are indicative to other famous... More

We love seafood and this is really the only 'seafood' place in town that isn't a chain restaurant. We have been eating here for years and have never had a bad meal. My fav is the Butterfish. I wish it was always in season! All the fish, lobster, crab, shrimp, etc... is always cooked perfectly and come with yummy sides. Great... More

Fish House Vera Cruz, Temecula, is the youngest in the trio of "Verz Cruz" fish houses. It is a lovely restraunt - think rustic with lots of wood & brick woven into the nautical these a midst huge decorative tanks of colorful tropical fish. As Temecula has grown, so has the competition, and FHVC is no longer the only place... More
