Great food! Good prices! We had dinner here and got a lot of food with our orders! It was almost too much to eat, but I managed to - and my dinner even included dessert! Next time we go through Tehachapi I'm planning to stop here to eat.

Went with the family after Easter mass and found to be quite an enjoyable, satisfying experience. The drink cups were huge, and refilled appropriately, there were joke books available to pass the time, enticing specials, an expansive menu, fast efficient service, and for the most part hot delicious food, including a bountiful cattlemans skillet with exceptionally tasty eggs, and remarkably... “clean place, clean toilets and decent food for price” Jan 26, 2014 came here after finding out that the Apple shed no longer sells stuffed french toasted but is reasonably priced for standard breakfast food. Friendly staff and good portions in food.

We were heading home from California City and decided to eat in Tehachapi. We stopped here, because it was open still for Sunday night. The waitress was kind and took our order, the food however was delivered slowly and I ordered belgian waffles (I think it was slow because the waffle maker wasn't ready and it was at night too,... Our one visit there was on a Sunday. Very busy and we were starving after church. Drove 45 minutes because tehachapi is quaint. I thought we were in a horror movie or candid camera after this. Filthy. Hot( we had to be seated upstairs). One waitress for the whole place it seemed. Salad was wilted and had a TWIST TIE... More

Nothing fancy, just a nice friendly hometown atmosphere. Large varied menu, including childrens and seniors menu. Great service and daily specials; breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plenty of food . . . you don't leave hungry. Try it, you'll like it.

We had breakfast here, I had the choriso scramble and the wife had the 'light eaters' breakfast. They were both very good, served as expected, and the price was very reasonable. I liked the choriso because it wasn't greasy and spicey, I like the flavor of choriso but sometimes it can be a bit sharp. This was one of the... More

At the end of the main street is "Village Grill" with their fantastic breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Like going back 40 years in time. Just like Tehachapi, it's 1973 there. Huevos Ranchero's or just plain eggs over easy, hash browns, toast and good coffee- about $6.00. Friendly folks and stall- just can't beat it. If you are in town, see... More

If you don't like small towns then you wouldn't understand the Tehachapi atmosphere and the sense of 'home'. The food was OK, I had a Reuben Sandwich even though I'm primarily a vegetarian these days. I break the rules for Reuben sandwiches as I have been sampling them all over the world. This one did not make the top 5... More
