Looking for something more interesting than steak or barbecue, I stopped here for an early dinner while spending one night in Tehachapi. The restaurant is 8 minutes from the center of town in a suburban strip mall, but it's easy to find. The menu is decidedly fusion: a mix of Central and South American-inspired dishes. My Pork Panama was very... More

Try the beef stroganoff cuban style that was a sokid entree. . beef was tough but the sauce was outstanding. Given , this was in the middle of no where ,... More

Don Juan's is one of our favorite restaurants in the Tehachapi area. The food is alway interesting and delicious. They have a great selection of wines and an inviting dining room. We've had nothing but great experiences.

We visited this establishment after sampling their fare at Bakersfield 's Bacon and Beer Festival on November 8. Luckily, we had GPS to find the restaurant located next to a feed store off the beaten path. We were apparently the only customers at 230pm. The interior is somewhat dark, and minimally decorated. Nice music played at conversation level. The owner... More

This place was referred to us by the staff at our timeshare in Stallion Springs. It is in a small plaza and is very unassuming from the outside. Don't be fooled. The food and service here are exceptional. A fusion of Cuban, Mexican, American and all things good. One of the best meals I've ever had in my life. Worth... More

The lighting was very poor. In fact it was hard to read the menu at all. The food was reasonably priced and tasted fine. The wine was not ordered as it seemed quite expensive.

We read the reviews and pulled up their menu from the web. It sounded like a Cuban restaurant, and we more or less know that kind of cooking. Of course, we wanted to give it a try. On our last day in Tehachapi, we decided to go there for lunch. We are glad that we did. My wife loved her... More

Paul the owner at Rose Garden Estate bed-and-breakfast told us to come here for something unique - boy was it ! I had this Cuban pork sandwich on the most amazing fresh baked bread . I got it without the ham and extra cheese and it came with a really tangy barbecue sauce it was truly spectacular . They serve... More

Stopped in for lunch because of a recommendation from a resort. We had empanadas, pollo pasta and a pork soup. The food is an infusion of Mexican, Cuban, and others. If I have had better food anywhere I can't remember. Fresh, perfectly spiced, unique flavors and quality ingredients. We also had a mojito that was superb. Wish we had this place... More
