Not the best. I ordered chicken and it was raw. Not impressed. Went with friends and tried some of their food and was not impressed.

Same good menu as they had at their previous location. Nice deck seating, with bocce ball courts, golf putting green. Might have been a bad day - but the wait staff could have done better. We have enjoyed many good meals at their previous location, and will come again. Wedge salad was always a favorite here - it was disappointing... More

This restaurant is located on a lower end golf course. The dining area is small, but it has outdoor seating and seating also in the bar area. This is not a classy restaurant, it feels more like a Greasy Spoon Cafe, with wooden tables and chairs like a country store. The day we were there, they were setting up entertainment... More

My husband and I ate here one night during a recent Tahoe vacation. We sat on the deck on a night that was cooler. There is seating inside, but almost everyone was out on the deck that night as it was pleasant and enjoyable. Umbrellas protect you from rain and sun, and you have a partial view of the golf... Had lunch recently with my wife and it was our first time here. The service was good and the location nice. I understand that they have moved here somewhat recently. I think that the reputation is for fine dining and I found my lunch to be good but not gourmet. The price however is reasonable and they do have outdoor... More

Our service was so bad! We went on a Monday night that was not particularly crowded. The lone server was evidently new and was overwhelmed. He kept saying he would be right there and then disappeared. It took over a half hour to receive our drinks and longer to get water and bread. Our friends waited at least 45 minutes... More

We've eaten at Spindleshanks when they were located down from their current location twice and at their current location. The food has always been okay, nothing great. Lots of other better choices within a few miles.

I love raw oysters and eat them all the time. I did not expect to see them at Spindleshank's for a buck apiece, and wasn't sure if I would like them, so I ordered one. It was great. So I ordered a dozen. That's when they brought me a plate with about 8 oysters, and 4 half oysters. It was... More

I am a very good cook and I would prefer to stay home and eat, but tonight I wanted to take my son and his girlfriend to a nice place for dinner. The problem with the service was not the waiter, but was the fact that the waiter was the only one working the restaurant. Granted it was a slow... More
