Breakfast was filling and delicious! I ordered pancakes with sausage and eggs and everything was delicious! My husband ordered a ham, cheese, and mushroom omelette, which he really enjoyed as well. My only complaint is the prices. Each of our breakfasts were $12.00. After 2 coffees and 2 breakfasts, our bill was over $30, which didn't include the tip!

Visited the new Spindleshanks location last night with less than average dining experience. The setting is no where near as quaint as the original location, the same can be said for the food. Our first choice, the lamb special was not available. The second choice, BBQ brisket not available. Settled for a below average sweet potato ravioli dinner, we wished... More

Small, cozy restaurant with good food, healthy portions and a fair price. Extensive wine list. Great service, whether sitting inside or outside on the deck.

My family has visited Lake Tahoe and gone to Spindleshanks in each of the past six years in its former location. We used to rave about the food. Sadly, after trying the new location twice for dinner and once for breakfast, we are not going back. We are very disappointed. Even though the staff is still friendly and they try... More

This restaurant has always been a favorite and now they have moved to wonderful location, the Brockway Golf course, overlooking the Bocce Ball Court and out to beautiful Lake Tahoe. They just opened and are settling into their new location and with each visit it only gets better. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Happy hour, or Bocce Ball...go check them out.

This restaurant is new to the dinner business and has some serious service and kitchen issues to resolve, but when it finally arrived, the food was good. It took over an hour for our food to arrive, two out of four dishes, and it was cold and had to be sent back. Another 15 minutes pass and our other diners... More

Apparently the 100-year-old building in Tahoe Vista where Spindleshanks was located has been condemned, so the restaurant has moved to a space at the Old Brockway Golf Course. The signs were up, but the restaurant wasn’t open. A source says that it will be just the bar at first, gradually expanding over time. Until then …

Great food, great service, very friendly staff. We went for lunch, I wanted the Oyster Bienzo, but they said it was on the dinner menu, and sometimes the afternoon happy hour app menu. We had fish tacos, and brisket sliders, they were delicious. Bloody Mary was awesome. We left for the day, I still wanted the Oyster Bienzo, so we... More

we used to go to Spindleshanks for dinner in the past, no more. not only did we wait for forty minutes to get our food but when it came it was not good. not sure if it is due to their change of location but we will not go again.
