Your meal starts off with a delicious wine list. Cocktail hour specials, Monday night is Martini night! Tuesday night live music in the winter months. In the summer more often. Menu has everything from oysters to burgers, great salads too. We have been there over twenty times and the food has always been wonderful. The owner greats you at the...

The food is good, but not special. The service was a little slow for no more business than they had at the time. And pretty expensive for the quality of the food.
Recommended to go here by the owner of our B&B. Great choice if you like friendly locals, great bartender and really surprising food. Ate at the bar and first had a roast artichoke, something you don't get everywhere. Mussels looked really good but we ended up having the scampi which was easily split as a meal apiece. Lots of prawns,...

Spindleshanks is quite popular year round with a lovely cabin feel to the interior, a comfy bar area that also works well for dinner on busy evenings and a nice (but uninspired) patio area for those summer evenings. Spindleshank's has one of the very best all around wine lists filled with marvelous selections! The Linguini w/Prawns has a lovely flavorful...

We really enjoyed Spindleshanks! Went back twice during our 6-day stay in the area. Service is great, and their food is excellent, including daily specials. Also a very nice wine list, which we actually weren't expecting. We enjoyed the live music on Saturday as well. Highly recommended!

Had dinner here twice in same week! Food was excellent, nice selection of wines, friendly service...

My husband and I walked in on Saturday night at about 7:30. Wait would have been about 45 minutes for a table, but we found a table in the bar. Service was a little slow, but it did look really busy. A couple were playing music and they were very good. I had the calamari appetizer and my husband had...
