Boathouse

Very unorganized place. Food was fair. Prices were average. The waitress was very friendly. Good view. Probably would not go back.

Late Tuesday night dinner with my son. We were the only customers so we had a private dinner. The manager ended up being our server as the staff was sent home. He was very attentive and the food was delicious. Herb crusted ahi seered nicely. Steak cooked to perfection.

We went here with 5 adults and 6 kids. The place has stairs down to the lake and the kids had a blast playing in ths sand and water while we enjoyed talking and appetizers. It was windy so we eventually got cold. The staff was amazingly accomodating and re-seated us on a glass walled patio where we enjoyed the... More

While taking a drive around north Shore we stumbled apun the boathouse. We arrived right at sunset to enjoy the great views. The clam chowder and crab stuffed prawns were excellant.Prices were average for seafood. If you are looking for a great place to eat with a awesome view, this is the place.

We were looking for a place to have dinner for our anniversary and found the Boathouse as we were driving by. The place was clean and the view; you could literally have your meal right above the lakes beautiful waters. Their chowder is amazing and the beef and seafood dishes were hearty and fresh. And yes reasonably priced. The servers... More

We ate there on a Wednesday evening at approximately 8.30pm, and surprisingly it was almost empty. We chose to sit outside and had our choice of table, all with amazing lake views. We felt incredibly lucky to have dinner in such a gorgeous location and wondered why it was such a well-kept secret! The napa wine i had was excellent,... More

The Boathouse has a new owner and new menu. Tables on the pier provide a Lake Tahoe view that is beautiful, as always. The food is very good & the wine list has interesting selections. The service is friendly and professional. The combination of all these factors makes for a wonderful dining experience.

Sitting outside on the covered dock is a great place since you are on Lake Tahoe. Friendly staff, good variety on the menu. We had Filet Mignon and it was yummy. The wine list is small but adequate. Great spot for just a cocktail, lunch or dinner

The best clam chowder we have ever eaten. Boathouse Mules are an excellent cocktail. Service was friendly and on time. Prices are a bit steep as is the rest of Tahoe

Great view of Lake Tahoe from the deck seating. Friendly wait staff. Attentive, but not hovering. Recommend their fish and chips - worth the wait as they cook them to order. Spinach/strawberry salad was good - as advertised. Suggest you use the vinaigrette for the dressing.
