Good food in relaxing setting

After taking our time along the scenic Lake Donner and Lake Tahoe, this was a relaxing place to stop for coffee and a snack.

We have been here many times...and 99% of the time, I have gotten a hamburger...they are delicious. This time I ventured away from the usual...and it was a big mistake. I ordered the St. Louis Ribs...and they were horrible. There were 8 on a plate and the first 4 were just OK. The ones under those were not even edible.... More

We are so sorry to hear about your experience with the ribs. This is very unusual and not the norm for our ribs. We will be making sure to check over each and every rib order to make sure this does not happen again. We hope that you do return and rate us on your next experience. We would love... More

Our burgers were good, beer selection was adequate. My husband enjoyed his elk burger but it was a bit over cooked, same as my burger. Next time I'll come in the daytime and sit outside by the river, the inside is rather dark.

Came here on a recommendation. I had the "elk burger" and my wife had two types of taco's; carne asada and pulled pork. Both were very good. I had a beer and my wife had a margarita with Hornitos tequila. Would recommend, very friendly, helpful staff and a good menu. No Happy Hour though, but bar was busy anyway

This place has a really great atmosphere with a bar area at one end and then traditional cabin style dining at the other. The waitresses were wonderful and extremely attentive to our group. The appetisers are huge and best to share, we over ordered but tried our best to finish the lot!

I usually stop at the Bridgetender when I'm cruising the Truckee River Trail- they have a great selection of burgers and a fully stocked bar. In the summertime it's nice to hang out on the deck next to the river.

Good locals bar with good burgers. Good bar and great service. On the river food and wine in the summer. Can be crowded on the weekends. No reservations.

This seems to be a local's hotspot. The burgers were VERY good. The service was a little slow, but that could have been because the place was full. We will definitely be back.

Great little cozy place. This was our 3rd time visiting over the last few years. One of our favorite little pit stops while traveling around the lake sight seeing. Cafe and Pub style food. We've tried both breakfast & lunch menu items. Haven't had bad food or service yet. LOVE their Spicy Bloody Marys.

Each of us ordered something different and all really liked the food. Our server was attentive and really good at serving. Among her special services, she knew my grandson really wanted chicken tenders but the food delivery had not yet arrived. He ordered a cheese burger instead. A few minutes later, she came back and discreetly asked my son-in-law if... More
