Yum, yum and meh.

Went here after spending the morning hiking. Heard that they had amazing fish tacos -- then found out they're made from cod (yuck) and served on flour tortillas (have the people in Tahoe never heard of corn tortillas?). The drinks are good (they have Pliney the Elder for the IPA fans out there). My... read more

We always try to stop here when we are in the area. We enjoy the creek, the service and the food. Great place to re-energize.

Best burgers ! And it can't get much better than sitting by the river. Our go to place to grab a bite after a day of biking or swing by after your Tahoe Treetop Adventure.

Well, we own a cabin close by. Because of this, we've eaten here probably a half dozen times over the past few years. It seems that no mater when we show up, the food is great, the atmosphere both inside and outside doesn't disappoint and the service is on par with about every other establishment on the lake. Now I... More

This is a long time favorite local and tourist hangout in Tahoe City. In the summer, if you can grab a spot at an outdoor table by the river, it's probably the best outdoor eating spot around. Great for families and singles, the food is regular California bar and grill food. This is a very popular place and gets crowded... More

This place is usually filled with regulars and locals, but don't be intimidated... everyone is really nice, and the service is great. The sandwiches and burgers are the things to get here. The cajun chicken is a favorite, especially with a draft beer. The waffle fries are too addictive to even mention. The patio is awesome when it's open. Bring... More

After a long bike ride along the Truckee River, we asked an employee at a local bike shop where we could find a good burger. He recommended the Bridgetender Tavern and Grill, which is located at the corner of 89 and 28, across the road from the Gatekeeper's Museum. We chose to sit outside on the patio at the restaurant,... This is a must experience for a summer visit to Tahoe. Great bar and grilled burgers. Outside seating is wonderful.

Parking is a little sparse, but the food and outdoor eating areas make up for it. Great food every time we have visited and a REALLY good Bloody Mary! Food is good and reasonably priced. Wait staff was nice and fun. Definitely a place to relax and enjoy a meal.
