Looks like a local place

This seems to be a local's hotspot. The burgers were VERY good. The service was a little slow, but that could have been because the place was full. We will definitely be back.

Great little cozy place. This was our 3rd time visiting over the last few years. One of our favorite little pit stops while traveling around the lake sight seeing. Cafe and Pub style food. We've tried both breakfast & lunch menu items. Haven't had bad food or service yet. LOVE their Spicy Bloody Marys.

Each of us ordered something different and all really liked the food. Our server was attentive and really good at serving. Among her special services, she knew my grandson really wanted chicken tenders but the food delivery had not yet arrived. He ordered a cheese burger instead. A few minutes later, she came back and discreetly asked my son-in-law if... More

This is a good burger and fries place with the kids. Don't expect super fresh stuff. Quality is meh...Better options in town.

We've eaten lunch here twice. Once in the Fall and again in winter. Kind of your basic pub food but with some different twist. Very tasty. Can be very crowded around noon, so either come early (11:30 ish) or later.

This place has a good menu, with lots of well-prepared choices to pick from. Nice seating outdoors when the weather's good. But, I had heard from a friend that they make their own clam chowder, and it was "the best, anywhere." Me, being a clam chowder lover--and very hard to please when it comes to good chowder--I found this dish... More

My friends and I stumbled upon this gem on a drive around Lake Tahoe last weekend. They were Octoberfesting just across the highway, and these guys were packed on a Saturday afternoon, but they did a commendable job. Really fast food (and nom nom) and pretty quick beverages. Just a perfect spot with the patio right beside the river. Felt... More

My husband and I stopped for lunch after checking out the Octoberfest across the street. He realized after we walked up that he had eaten there before while driving around Tahoe. He recommended the BBQ pork sandwich so that is what I ordered. I got it with cheese and avocado on top which was tasty. He ordered the Elk burger... More

After hiking all day we stopped here for lunch. They have a cute patio right on the river with a small bar and lunch tables. We had the Avocado Burger with onion rings and the Chicken Strips. We were very hungry but we could not eat even half of our food. The quality was so poor. It tasted like everything... More

The parking lot was packed when we pulled in which we knew was a good sign. So we were pleasantly surprised when we got a table for 5 immediately. Looked like the bar was standing room only with locals watching sports. Even a bride and groom were celebrating at the bar. Loved the mountain tavern atmosphere. Our server was friendly,... More
