We stopped by for a quick breakfast and to pick up sandwiches for lunch. I would have to say that the main drawback to this place was that they had too many wonderful choices for breakfast so it was hard to choose! I had a fresh baked raspberry pastry, my wife had a "raspberry twist", both were fresh and delicious.... More

Driving north on H89 to Tahoe City with a wife on your right craving for some strong coffee this place saved our day. Not only was the cappuccino perfect, the cakes we tried were excellent as well. Nice sitting area inside and outside, too. We loved it!

We were renting a house just down the street from this place, what a find! Coffee and other hot drinks were really good. Grabbed a cake for our Daughters b-day-excellent. The pastry selection is amazing, from sweet to savory and some in between. The place was very busy on the weekend, people out the door when we went at 8... More

Okay I may be over-exaggerating a bit, but they did help us out in a pinch! Note: This review is about service only. The morning of my friend's wedding, she realized she had a couple of gluten restricted guests attending the event. When I txt'd the bride to see if there was anything she needed, she sent me on a... What a great bakery! We went multiple times for breakfast pastries because it's unusual to find such delicious gluten free options. The GF lemon poppyseed blueberry muffins are heavenly, as are the chocolate pecan cookies! The rest of the family loved their normal pastries as well.

We were looking for a quick lunch on a busy 3rd of July and this place was exactly what we were looking for. Good sandwiches and we could have easily bought too much other food that we didn't need. The only thing we could have used was a fountain drink since is was very hot. Didn't think about it until... More

Many years ago, this used to be a restaurant , they quit the restaurant business and when into bakery, sandwiches , coffee place, smart owners. We go there to get croissants, , they are enormous, are they the best I ever had, no, but they are good, very big, the chocolate croissant has a lot of chocolate and you could... More

This little bakery doesn't look like much from the outside, although it is under reconstruction, but inside is a whole lot of goodness! quick breakfasts, great lunches and fantastic desserts. Don't miss this Tahoe gem - your taste buds will thank you. Their cranberry orange cheesecake in the fall is amazing.

There's an extensive remodel going on, but the kitchen is still turning out excellent food. We had a variety of sandwiches, salads, and soup for lunch, and they were all quite tasty and reasonably priced for the neighborhood - and lunch outside in Tahoe is a pretty tough life!
