We went to Jake's on the recommendation of Tahoe City Visitors centre. We asked for somewhere with good food....it didn't disappoint but added amazing views with a terrace right on the lakefront. Service was excellent, value was good. Thanks to the referral from the Visitors centre we received a free pudding- an amazing slice of Hula pie big enough that... More

We were doing a great job of eating light after hiking Down to Emerald Beach I enjoyed my hearts of palm salad - with roasted hickory nuts. Wasn't full so had a bowl of good minestrone. Waiter brought dessert menu and were looking for something gluten-free. Couldn't resist. Out comes this BIG bowl and it was filling an very tasty.... More

We sat outside along the lake which was beautiful. I ordered a salad with tuna steak. The tuna was cooked to well and had no seasoning. My husband has a Cobb which he liked.

You come to dine here for the view-it's the best of Tahoe- marina with boats and Lake Tahoe behind them. Cool, relaxed vibe of waitstaff and good variety of food to please everyone in the family. It's traditional food and somewhat uninspired, but no one leaves disappointed. They do what they do very well. We had burgers, fries, and salads.

I stopped by on a solo trip, checking out various restaurants in the area, on my vacation, to King's Beach. I stopped in and the atmosphere is very nice with a view of the marina. I asked about the steamers (clams) and the staff said to make sure to order some bread on the side. Good call, the steamers were... More

We arrived at about 1:30PM for lunch thinking it would be a good time, wrong. We waited about 35 minutes even though there were empty tables available the entire time. Not the way to encourage a return visit. The food was good but expensive. Great location with a good view of the Marina and Lake. I advise you to make... More

We also walked the pier and the dock areas before deciding to eat here. We hit at a quiet time and were seated with a good view of the lake. Food was average, service was decent, but the interior of the place was neat and you couldn't beat the views.

I arranged for a party of 12 to get lakeside seating for a dinner in August. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and liked the food and wine. I was worried since it was a last minute arrangement and I was sending them there sight unseen however, it was a success.
