No matter the barista, expressoNo is always excellent. Also, Dave bakes insanely addictive blueberry scones and brownies. You've been warned:-)

Great place and great staff. And more importantly, great food. The bagels are fresh and the variety of sandwiches available make me want to come back over and over again. We had the Mama Mia and the Hueavous Rancherous - both were awesome. Smoothies are a hit as well... What really impressed me was the staff. I went on NYs... More

We stopped in after a long walk. Had a delicious salad. Everything is made fresh so there is a little wait. The gals were energetic.

My husband and I always go to Syd's when visiting Tahoe. It's where the locals go for their morning coffee, so you know it's good. I drink decaf, and it is as good as any regular I've ever tried. I love the "everything" bagels, and the homemade muffins are also delicious. We've also had really good lunches, with many healthy... More

I asked for half defaf-regular coffe and a bagel with PB. The bagel came out 15 minutes late waited another 10 and still didn't have coffee. Told that decaf was being made .... so after another 10min i asked for just regular coffee. The blond haired young lady, now annoyed by my inability to wait any longer, gave me an... More

Stopped in Tahoe City for a few days of spring skiing. Used this place for packed lunch and breakfast supplies. Jam and butter bagel really good. Sandwiches great too.

My new bride has stopped here for coffee apres-ski for many years, and so it was a natural for us to stop by for coffee after spending the night with friends at their cabin. The coffee was excellent; several choices, both leaded and unleaded. The morning was spoiled, however, by a group of European touristas occupying about half the tables... More

On vacation from Australia, staying just out of Tahoe City, after having a few coffees that were so bad, I couldn't drink them, after warming my hands around the cup, I left without drinking it! The next day I was walking the Main Street and asked a lady was she "a local" and where was the best coffee in town.... More

Good healthy options, including whole wheat bagels; and the coffee was great. Nice location, right on the lake.

We are always looking for a places that offer healthier options are quicker and don't break the bank. Syd's is a little hole in the wall that's probably been around many years and knows what works. We both had a great veggie sandwich and fruit smoothie that were made to order and service was fast. Reasonably priced and on the... More
