Great food, cooked fresh. Family operated. Wonderful folks at this little place. Loved the salsa bar.

We just walked here from our hotel. Very convenient location. Food is pretty basic but they have a whole table full of salsas, etc. to spice up your food. Think they are cooking for people not used to Mexican food. Allowing the consumer to add the spice is a nice touch!

vegetarian taco salad, it was sloppy and runny. Iceberg lettuce was cut so thin it was limp. I did like the salsa bar and the prices are amazingly low. The people working there were polite and friendly, so I feel bad to not leave a great review but we won't eat there again.

Forget Jalisco's , I've tried all the other taquerias in south lake and this one is the best. When you factor in price , quality , and quantity, this hole in the wall taqueria is beats all the others hands down. Not a fancy restaurant at all. Tacos for $1, burritos for $5-6.

Lady taking our order was rude. Small eatery that locals probably frequent. We are there because yelp had 4.5 stars...that was a HUGE error. Food was very average Mexican food you could find at any roadside stand. Cook did his best but the food and service was poor

Very friendly service and great food. Try the horchata - delicious! We tried a variety of tacos and all were great.

Found this hole-in-the-wall Mexican food joint. It's where the locals go. Excellent food, friendly service. Great find!

This place is amazing. The burritos and tacos are so cheap and so good best place in south lake tahoe for real mexican food.

Wonderful breakfast burritos. Their claim of "best fish tacos" was a bit stretchy, but they were still pretty solid.

This is a small taqueria 2 blocks across Hwy 50 from the Heavenly gondola. Walked there from Marriott Timber Lodge and got dinner to bring back to the timeshare unit. No atmosphere as it has 6 small booths, a tv playing Univision and photos of Chivas soccer team. The menu is hand written on a whiteboard, you order at a... More
