Yummy lunch on a cold & snowy afternoon

There were 4 in our group. We were served by a very friendly & efficient young lady. I had a cheeseburger, which was delicious, my daughter had the mac & cheese with mushroom, which she said was one of the best she's ever had. Fat Cat was a very good choice for lunch in Tahoe.

I had the fat cat burger. I wasn't sure so I went with the "signature" dish. I'll get to that in a minute. The bartender/waiter dude is a hard worker. He's the only one up frint, serving 18, hustling and doing a great job. Now, to the burger. He asked how I wanted it cooked, "medium rare", camwwell done. Not... More

I went with my family and a couple of friends over New Years week, always a busy week for the area but we still managed to get a table in about 15 minutes and our food came quickly and correctly. This place is small ( seating for 40-50 max I think ), and quite nicely decorated. We had very good... More

Decent restaurant, good food. The macaroni was a little soupy, but my boyfriend's roast beef with horseradish was delicious! Service was friendly and the restaurant had some interesting decor.

I know its a sports bar, but it was very load. The tables were to close to the bar A man came in and sat at the bar, but he was so close to us as we were eating that he took his hat off and starting itching his head and flipping his hair around and I almost walked out.... More

I love the menu at this restaurant. The decor and local art displayed makes for a lovely ambiance. The only drawback is that the kitchen can be slow to serve sometimes. They recently added a breakfast menu which I highly recommend.

For some reason I forgot to write a review of the Fat Cat Bar and Grill when we visited Lake Tahoe last year. To this day I still think of how wonderful my Philly Cheese Steak was. I ordered mine with chicken and it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. I want to come back to... More

I like this place for lunch or dinner. Pretty fast and good beer selection. Mix of pub type fare along with more specialty items. Food has always been good.

This is one of few late night bars to catch music locals and a cold drink.. If you go when Quinn is working, you will be given the best service ever! I have been several times when the bar is packed and Quinn never fails to deliver wonderful service and cold drinks

We were driving around Lake Tahoe for a long while trying to find a snack before we came across the Fat Cat. Staff were very relaxed but still helpful. The place seemed very casual indeed which contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. Soda was watery and sweet potato chips didn't taste like sweet potato at all. But strangely, the experience was...
