Did not fell like a stranger when I went into Fat Cat - Service was very homey and friendly - a decent selection of brews, and some tasty treats - we had the southwest egg rolls. Gave some tips on where to go - we were a little tired, but looked like some good music was going to happen too... More

We happened to sit down right at the time the Germans had their scoring run over Brazil at the World Cup. We had a good time even though we don't usually watch soccer. Our food was good and we would definitely eat here again if we ever go back to Lake Tahoe. We just stumbled upon this place while wandering... More

Good Place to sit and watch people. Food is good. Crowded on weekends and holidays. No reservations. Music at night.

Couldn't find an open restaurant on the water so we started waking and found Fat Cat. It was the middle of the afternoon so no one was in the restaurant. Service was good and food was very reasonable. Presentation and quality was very good...just what you would expect. Price was reasonable too. Definitely would go back.

We stopped here very hungery on our way back down to south lake Tahoe. Our server was busy but took the time to be friendly and to make sure we had a great experience. She really did a nice job! The food was excellent as well! Overall a great experience!

Let's get something straight, this place isn't 5 star, fine dining. This is a cosy little bar with delicious pub menu. This place was just across the road from the hotel, so we decided to give it a try. Just the ticket, after a cold, hard day on the slopes. My partner had the fat cat burger and house soup.... More

Just called in here for a light lunch. It has soups, salads, Burgers, sandwiches and pasta and we had the Fat Cat Burger and fries which was beautifully cooked medium rare and tasty and just "hit the spot" accompanied by a local beer. Service was friendly and efficient and would recommend.

Saw the sign that the Fat Cat Café is now serving breakfast and decided to check the menu. Looked good for lunch as well. I had the Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and Avocado sandwich on toasted sourdough. Very good, indeed, with a little side salad. The service was excellent and food came fast. From the table, we could see a little... More
