Hart's Café is no longer in business. Before Hart's it was a Denny's. Foodies are wondering what will be tried next in this great location with plenty of parking. Time will tell.

I have had lunch at Harts cafe several times. This is a common "locals" gathering place. The service is always good, as is the food. Not spectacular, but good and definely worth a try. Their daily specials are a bargain and usually tasty. By giving them 3 stars, I dont mean to suggest that one should skip trying Harts, only... More

We stopped here during a recent road trip for breakfast. The resturant was a 50's style diner and offered outstanding breakfast. My husband had steak and eggs. The steak was cooked just as he ordered- medium rare. I had the early bird breakfast of eggs, sausage, bacon and pancakes for $3.99 - including coffee. Very good food and great value.... More

Wait staff is nice, and very helpful, they are in a strip mall with a large parking lot that is convent for parking your RV.

An informal café offering as range of straightforward snacks and café food. Good choices for all day breakfasts, which is convenient for vegetarians.

This cafe is a lot of fun to eat at. They have a lot Betty Boob stuff and other 50's memorabilia. The food is fabulous and they have many different dishes that is sure to tickle your fancy. The prices are average and in line with any other diner/cafe. I enjoyed the three times I've been there. The staff are... More

This place was a big disappointment...hotel staff recommended 2 places to eat, first suggestion turned out doesn't allow kids (because of liquor license), so Hart's it was. WE ARE NOT food snobs, we live just east of Tacoma, WA and are used to many mediocre restaurants. We ate what we could because we were hungry...chicken strips was all that I... More

We were at Hart's for a very early breakfast and then returned for lunch the next week. Both times the food was great, served by wonderful waitresses that have a great sense of humor. If traveling through Susanville we would be sure to stop again. The pie was tempting but I was too full from lunch!

This cafe was the recommendation from our hotel clerk. It sounded like a good local place. It's a nice building, there is table, booth and counter seating. Vern chose the Sr meat loaf meal, he selected a baked potato, it also came with veggies, and a salad. I selected a ham sandwich and bowl of clam chowder. My chowder seemed... More

Hart's was just a short walk from the RV park where we stayed. If you're tired of fancy food and just want some basic grits, this is a great place, the kind of place you'd expect to find in a town like Susanville. I had the pot roast and the wife was in the mood for breakfast (for dinner, which... More
