Good, italian's opinion

I am from Italy and I tried this restaurant during my staying in Sunnyvale. The pasta was quite good (not over-cooked, and with the right amount of salt). The tapping was quite good. Very good Tiramisu!

I never liked going here when it first opened. My kids loved it and would always request it and I would always try to get them to change their minds. But recently I have changed my mind. I have gone it there for a fast meal about three times now, and have found a couple of things on the menu... More

There are Italian restaurants all around the South Bay. We often go to Il Postale in Sunnyvale, By the Bucket in Santa Clara, and Florentines in Cupertino. The first two restaurants still offer 2 for 1 coupons in the San Jose Mercury news Eye section on Thursdays -yes some of us still subscribe to newspapers! So there's little reason to... More

We usually eat here around 5 PM on Saturdays or Sundays, but because it was my husband's birthday we went at 6 on a Friday. Service, which has always been excellent in the past, was abysmal. We sat for 10 minutes before a waiter noticed us. Usually, delicious bread is brought immediately. Bread wasn't brought until after our entrees were... More

I've been to numerous Pasta Pomodoros - it's pretty darned good for a chain. Clean, pleasant atmosphere, attentive service and good food. LOVE their roasted butternut squash ravioli.

Still good food and we always use the take-out option. Our favorite sandwich was replaced with a 'steak' one so we do not go as often as before. Still great for a quick take-out if you are on your way somewhere and need to take it with you.

Head for Pasta Pomodoro on The Alameda in San Jose and sit outside instead of this congested, noisy Pomodoro in Sunnyvale. Still the same tasty food...just better ambiance and service.

I'd heard how good this place was from many of my friends, but I ended up being a bit disappointed. Sometimes it's hard to live up to a reputation I guess. Food was decent but nothing outstanding
