We were driving along El Camino Real during a visit to see the Grateful Dead at Shoreline and saw this restaurant from the road. It was so crowded! We decided to turn around and try it. I come from the UK where they have the best Indian food outside of India. I have never found anywhere in the US to compare, but Shalimar is the best I have found to date. A little oily, but great flavour and great value. more
