Tao Tao only serves Americanized, yet delicious, Chinese food. There are absolutely no French or Vietnamese dishes on their menu so I believe that the TripAdvisor banner "French, Chinese, Vietnamese" is an error. This is one of the few local restaurants where they serve very tasty Pressed Almond Duck and seasonal Sautéed Chinese Broccoli with Garlic. Whether you’re there for... More

The food is excellent here. It is Chinese food with a twist. One of the must haves is the Tao Tao beef. Have this once, and you will be back for this. Also very good is the shredded chicken salad and the Honey Walnut Prawns. The Mai Tai's here are very good, but be careful, they are also very strong.

A friend of our referred us to this restaurant and highly recommended the popular Tao Tao beef dish and a Mai Tai. We were very disappointed in our friends recommendation on specific items to eat and drink, but not for our restaurant experience and the remainder of our food choices and the price point overall were very good. Three family... More

I have been going to this restaurant for Chinese food for over 20 years and I have never been disappointed. Their oriental chicken salad is the best you'll ever taste. We have eaten in the restaurant a few times, but mostly we order for take out. Parking is a huge problem because of all the pubs and other restaurants around... More

A bit crowded at lunch so get there early. It can be noisy but the service is fast and the food is very good. There is also a good bar and plenty of free parking in the area.

Chinese Chicken Salad and a Mai Tai. Sounds like a strange combination, but throw a little honey walnut prawns in there and you have a great meal. If you have a ride home, have another Mai Tai for dessert!

Stopped in for a fast meal and was pleasantly surprised. We had Mongolian beef which was delicious and Cashew chicken which was similarly tasty. Egg rolls were a good starter as well. Food was on the table within 10 minutes of ordering and was hot and tasty. I will be back to sample more of their menu.

Local haunt. Love this place. Tao Tao Beef, Chinese Chicken Salad, Wor Wanton Soup, Chicken wings are solid. But, the Mai Tai's are what we go for. They are lethal. One = pleasantly buzzed, two = walking home sideways.

Tao Tao's is a favorite of many for its Chinese Chicken Salad. I ordered the chicken chow mein and it was mostly noodles with a few pieces of small chicken and sliced celery tossed in. It was just ok, but not great. The place is huge and has the usual combination lunches with soup, rice, and won ton chips accompanying... More

This place on Murphy is both nicely appointed and has a sense of quality about the food. It's not that it's so imaginative or daring, but it's very good. The menu has clearly taken shape from years of listening to their customers. The service was friendly and professional. Clean too, a big plus. Prices not high for their great location.
