The food is great, but do not order from the "put together menu" where you get soup, main dish, etc. These dinners are not fresh. We have done that twice and it was not good either time. However, if you order Won Ton soup or any other dish, it is normally very good. They have an excellent Chinese Chicken Salad.... More

This place is right in the center of Sunnyvale city. Convenient traffic since near to the large parking lot of macy's. The restaurant is Chinese style. The quality of food is OK. I ordered kongpao chicken. It's not that good, but just OK. Their fired squid is good. I would rate it a 3 star.

We went to Tao Tao for my fathers's birthday dinner and ordered the "C" Family dinner which has about 8 dishes. Everything tasted great. The service was quick and the staff friendly. My favorite is the Chinese Chicken salad which has the hot mustard in it and it tastes wonderful. Second favorite is the Honey Walnut Prawns...

If you love Chinese food, and who doesn't, you have to dine at Tao Tao's in Sunnyvale, Ca. The food is totally amazing, the atmosphere is quite charming, the service is superb, and their bar is the best in the whole South Bay. They are famous for these two dishes: Chinese Chicken Salad and Tao Tao Beef. I know people... More

A very interesting place that looks nondescript on the outside. Having picked it on the strength of Trip Advisor recommendations we thought cocktails were the way to go. And they certainly are, both tasty and with generous helpings of the necessary spirits. The food was tasty and reasonable, different to any other Chinese I've had to date but it was... More

Tao Tao has long been a regular stop in our family's dining cycle. I have been going to Tao Tao for over 20 years and the food has been of consistently high quality. The menu is expansive and has something for everyone. The majority of the dishes are tailored to American tastes. Those looking for a more "pure" or authentic... More

I went with a large group which is the best way to enjoy Chinese food. We enjoyed the excellent cocktails in the bar before going to our table. The house specialities of Chicken Salad and Tao Tao Beef will not disappoint. The shrimp dishes were excellent also and mouth watering. We had an excellent dinner. The one downer of the... More
