We ate there last night ad ordered the Family Dinner C. (There are also A and B family dinners for slightly less cost.) All the food was delicious and served hot, which we think is important. The pressed duck was very good, but next time I would order the sauce on the side. There was too much for me. There... More

I go there whenever I get back to the Bay Area for the best ever Chinese Chicken Salad---no other place even compares. Like the bartenders and friendly service there---plus you do not have to explain how to make the classic cocktails. Other entrees were tasty also and love the lazy Susan on the round tables. Service is efficient too and... More

While I wouldn't say that the general atmosphere was anything special, the food was truly good, satisfying and well priced. Good place to take your family. I'd go back.

Here is my Tao Tao experience in Sunnyvale. They offered the only hot and sour soup I have ever tried that was so salty that I could not eat it. Then they substituted an egg drop soup that was flavored a little more than plain water. Then the main dish, spicy shrimp, was not spicy nor was it tasty. The... More

We have eaten at Tao Tao many times most recently May 2014. We usually order one of their wonderful Mai Tais and sometimes we even order two (and then are happy all night)...... Their Chinese chicken salad is the best I have ever had - and often order this while dining at Tao Tao. They have a dinner that includes... More

It's not outstanding, but it's very good. This was our second visit. We had a party of four and visited on a Wed. evening. Our first course was wor wonton soup (I think that's what it's called). Very good and full of water chestnuts, prawns, meat, won tons, and probably more. Second was the Chinese chicken salad. It was OK,... More

Tao Tao has great food. Though a bit on the pricey side, it's well worth it. They are famous for their chicken salad which is delicious along with their Tao Tao beef. Potstickers are a good starter.

We called for a reservation. They accepted. We arrived and they completely rushed us through our dinner. Hovering over us to take our plates. Hovering to take our payment. Vacuuming up the restaurant while we were eating. We got a big joke out of it, but how rediculous is that?! The manager was leading the charge. He must pay the... More
