Really not sure what to make of this place but I was not all that impressed. Service was friendly enough, but the food was a bit of a let down. It is fine dining, but the cutlery and general structure of the place is a bit dated and lacks sophistication. The food was ok, but for the price not good... More

Treated my staff to a business lunch and the service we received was excellent. The lunch menu was diverse enough for everyone to find something to their liking. Everyone enjoyed their food. Price is a little to the higher side, but I did not feel cheated.

Since when is 82-35=71? Since we went to Lion and Compass. We got $82 of food and had a $35 discount coupon, with the final bill $71. More on this bill (mis)calculation later. Lion and Compass has been around for 32 years -older than the average Yelper! A good place for a first date, except that there is nothing around... More

This restaurant is in a hidden corner of Fairoaks in Sunnyvale, so it's easy to miss it if you don't know the directions. It unpretentious and has good ambience for a quiet relaxing lunch, unlike the equally popular Birk's, which has been slipping in both the food quality and noise level. Service is top notch and attentive, without being annoying.... More

I loved that we could walk in and be seated. The wine and the food are excellent. They have happy hour on Fridays and Mike at the bar is great!

Excellent service, traditional ambiance. Seafood seems to be their specialty. We were 8 people and everyone enjoyed their appetizers and entrees. Highly recommend the swordfish.

One of the most interesting thing I've been told in this recent trip in California is that this restaurant was built by the Atari founder for his friend. It is a nice restaurant, with a very good bar that offer a kind of upper class environment. Food is good and I strongly suggest who visit this place to listen to... More

This is a very friendly place to dine. The moment you enter the restaurant you are greeted with a friendly good evening. The menu is not large but they always have a special and the selections are always prepared perfectly. This is a place for business people at lunch, special parties are arranged for holidays, and a great place for... More

Enjoyed a seat at the relaxing bar and had a fine class of Red along with the Goat Cheese salad and Ravioli. Jimmy the bartender took good care of me.
