Great local place

We have been coming here for years. Baked Ziti and a meatball is my favorite. Super savory and delicious. My husband orders something different every time and is always please.

First of all, the location isn't looking that good as the food is! As far as I've heard the want to move, would be great! You'll find a variety of Italian specialities made and served with love. Try the arancini or the tortellini, you'll enjoy!

I like the brick interior, good Italian food, and overall experience. Very good choice particularly for an intimate dinner for two.

The lunch waitress pretends to be friendly, but she is not tuned into customer satisfaction. Examples: 1) Even though the restaurant has a prominent advertisement out front offering a $10 lunch deal, the waitress brought us the menus for higher priced food; we had to ask for the $10 menu, but she did not apologize (it felt intentional). 2) One... Great place for dinner. I had a gift card from here and decided to use it. My husband and I had a wonderful dinner. The food was very good, we had brought out own bottle of wine, their corkage fee was reasonable. Our server was fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely. We really enjoyed ourselves and appreciated our server didn't... More

The main restaurant was very noisy, so made the decision to eat outside in the small garden area at the back - good choice. Service was on the slow side, with two good viewpoints to one not good for the meal. OK, but could be better.

We hadn't dined here for a year or so and find it dramatically changed. Perhaps they have changed owners or management because the food was mediocre and the service some of the worst we have experienced in a long time. We arrived for lunch and they wanted to seat us next to the cash register. There were several tables open... More

The Beef Braciola looked great on the menu, but what emerged was pathetic -- poor quality beef, tasteless limp spinach, no sign of the wonderful cheeses described, and a weak marinara sauce no better than Ragu. They are trying to pawn off a 'low value' offering for way more than the dish is worth. So you've been warned! Skip the... More

I love Il Postale. The pluses, include the food, which is plentiful; the location, close to other downtown venues; and the owner, who is always fun and friendly. The challenges of Il Postale are that it is a small restaurant, that gets VERY noisy. Also, if you are there in warmer weather, be prepared to swelter. I have had good... More

With a menu to please the most discerning diner, Il Postale serves it's patron within a quaint Italian atmosphere. The service is both friendly and efficient even during the most busy evening. The pasta and shirmp, pork loin, veal shanks are stand-outs. Perfect side dishes complement both the full meals and small plates. With family, friends or for business..ya gotta... More
