I had a nice quick lunch there with nice service, comprised only in a salad and desert. We were surprised by the limited portion size given the price, but the dedicated service, since we were alone on the terrace, made up for the disappointment.

A large group; the food was great and the service was excellent. My citrus salad with salmon was fresh and the salmon was perfect. A great meal with a glass of the house merlot.

There are so many restaurants in the local South Bay area that we could go to a different one each time we go out to dinner. That being said, we purposefully returned to Tarragon. Not only that but we will go back again. It's just a really nice restaurant with well cooked foods, great ambiance, interesting décor, and efficient wait... More

Nestled in Silicon Valley’s Sleepy-esque hollow of Sunnyvale resides a noteworthy eatery and watering hole named “Tarragon.” Tarragon affords a remarkably refreshing balance between that charming ambience so often encountered in nicer establishments of its sort and that illusive, breathable atmosphere one hopes bravely to find. Tarragon’s culinary coterie competes with “the very best of them,” while its serving staff... More

I have eaten here a number of times. My wait time has ever been long, and the staff were always professional. My food order was always correct and arrived in a decent amount of time. I would recommend Tarragon anytime

I had the lasagne which was somewhat made in the European style (bechamel.) Sauce was good but the pasta was gummy: sent it back. The service is excellent.

We visited early on a Saturday night and had to wait for table despite the place being less than half full. Bar tender was slow to get an order. Once the place started to fill, it was clear that they did not have enough waitresses to adequately cover the tables. Service was slow. My wife had the prime rib and... More

Tarragon has the whole package - great food, great service and reasonable prices. On-street parking is a challenge, but there is a large lot directly behind that is easy to use.

Our first attempt was met with "We are closing" which was surprising, but it was a Monday. We came back on a return visit midweek and it was surprisingly empty which made for a very quiet dinner. The menu selections required some contemplation before we ordered... that allowed a drink first. The wine list is very god and the choice... More

I found the food delightfully delicious, large portions and with plenty of options. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming, I like the way the tables are arranged around the restaurant--not a bad seat in the house.
