I was in the area on business and to catch up with my best friend over a good meal. Neither of us had been to this establishment, took a walk down Murphy Street with no plan or reservation...and what a great find this was! The manager gave us a warm greeting and we opted for a bar table. The bartender... More

Great dinners during the Early Bird time slot. I have been there several times and plan to return as often as possible. The service has always been lovely, and the food delicious...great atmosphere, and what can I say about the price for Early Birds? WOW, covers it. The salmon is fabulous (even with sauce on it!...I almost NEVER add sauce).... More

This was our first visit and we were pleased with the Menu Offerings for our lunch. I ordered Salmon with a citrus/cilantro sauce which I asked the waiter to leave-off the cilantro because I am not a fan of it. It was real good. Cooked to my liking. My friend ordered the Lamb Chops. He ate them all and commented... More

We recently had dinner with a group of friends at Tarragon. What a great evening! We each ordered something different from the "early bird" menu and everyone was more than pleased with their choices. The meal included soup or salad, the main dish with accompanying sides and dessert, all for $20. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Our server... More

The location is nice since is in the nicest street of that area, full of other restaurants and shops. By the way the restaurant really did not impressed me since the waiters was average and the food I chose was really not the best at all,I ordered a paella and it was something that have nothing to do with the... The trip to Tarragon finished up our week in Silicon Valley. We had hit a variety of restaurants and had even travelled to San Fran to eat on the wharf. Tarragon was easily our best stop all week. Not overpriced, and the food was served VERY fresh and VERY hot. They left no question that we got the food the... More

Visited Silicon Valley for the first time so I had no idea where to begin to look for a nice local restaurant, but my client suggested Tarragon. It is located in downtown Sunnyvale on a street with many restaurants, bars and people watching. The interiors have a deco influence; warm and inviting. Service was very attentive throughout the meal. The... More

I ate here based on a TA review. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I ate solo at the bar. The swordfish was delicious. Spinach salad could have used more balsamic and fresher spinach, but all in all was ok. Very good sourdough bread served warm. Reasonable prices for a high quality place. I would eat here again next time I'm... More

Enjoyed a good dinner this evening of swordfish that was perfectly cooked with great roasted vegetables. Our group also had the special pasta and the beef tenderloin shush kabobs and everyone was delighted. Try it, you will be delighted too.

Tarragon is tucked back in the "downtown" area of Sunnyvale. The waitstaff are wonderful and the food is great.
