Delicious Prime Rib Dip Sandwiches

Great place for a delicious prime rib dip sandwich! The sandwich shop is small, with only a few tables inside and a few outside on the patio. It gets VERY busy at lunch time, so it's best to go early.

This Sunnyvale institution gets busy, so plan ahead. Food: Prime rib sandwich was delicious. Meat had a smokey flavor and was very tender. Fries were tasty. Adamson’s house root beer is sweet but very good. Ambiance: Their building was a fast-food place. Dining area is tiny and always packed. There is a small outdoor patio as well. Place your order... $7 and this would be very good. Meat was good quality although could use more. Toasted bun good. Au jus had some secret ingredient I found boring so that was very disappointing because the bun/au jus experience is the whole reason to get a French Dip. At least au jus didn't have horrible burnt taste you find in a lot... More

Today I went in and tried the prime rib dip with sauteed onions. It was well presented and and the service was good. Once I tucked into the sandwich is when things went bad. The meat was scarce, dry, lacked any seasoning and the au jus which I figured would have a rich flavor as indicated by the scores of reviews... More

Before writing a place off , I will try it twice. Steady stream of customers, place is clean & fast and friendly service but that is where the good ends. I really wanted to like the tri tip but the meat was mushy, and the sauce left a funny taste in my mouth hours later. And they have limited hours... More

Had heard many things about this place, and we have a family of French dip lovers. The meat just wasn't that great both times we ate there. Sorry to say we found it chewy both times.

I am a big fan of the prime rib dip and the seasoned fries. The bread is soft, rich and buttery. The prime rib is smokey and delicious. For the first time in my life I started drinking the au jus remnants (one of the best parts). The fries are seasoned well and dip well in the au jus too.... More

Great Prime French Dip. Will go back again. Not much seating, but worth the wait. They also offer a nice selection of other menu items.

I like eating food. Wait, I like eating good food. No, I like eating great food. Ask any local if they want to go to Adamson's, 11-times-out-of-10 they will say yes. If they say no, then they are not from around her. If you feel like the best French Dip you will ever have, look no further. Why are you... More

I was driving by and saw this restaurant and it looked cute and sounded delicious, so I decided to give it a try. I'm sure glad I did. It was delicious!! The signature Prime Rib French Dip is outstanding and just melts in your mouth. The onion rings and Root Beer were wonderful also. I can't wait to go back.
