So much better than the large fast food chains. I had the French Dip, Onion Rings and a Root beer. All were excellent!
I go here quite a bit, and the sandwiches are very good. I would give them 4 or even 5 stars if not for 2 things. First, they run out of items on a regular basis. I know it is a small, family run restaurant and they can't make/stock everything, but I have been here at least 8 times when... More
This little place appears cute from the street and since my husband likes French Dips we tried it. I RARELY eat red meat but, no fooling, this is the best beef I have had in years. You have a choice of sirloin or prime rib so we chose prime rib. It is extremely tender, very tasty and absolutely no fat,... More
Reasonably priced, limited seating, fast food restaurant atmosphere. But the French dip, fries , and onion rings were all very good. Terrific for a fast meal.
I'm a french dip snob, I love them. For $8.95 I got a pretty good sized beef sandwich with very disapointing fake au jus. Really,, give me good stuff please. I really wanted a root beer but they wanted $3.00 for a mug with $1.00 refills. Not worth the money, I'd go to the cheesesteak place across the parking lot... More
I'm from the Midwest so I've had a lot of great brewed root beer and great meats. Adamson's delivers both for a great price in a very small location (outside seating is nice but hectic in a parking lot). This is a "must try" for lunch if you like smoked BBQ chicken, beef, or pork and the root beer is... More
My wife, Gale, and I used to live in Sunnyvale and we ate there once a week. It was sooooooo good. Sandwiches and onion rings to die for. The owners are really cool and love to talk to their guests and make us feel like family members. We moved to Cameron Park last year and miss the place sooooo much.... More
If you like French dip - then this is a good place. The menu options are pretty limited, and everything tastes pretty similar, but what they do well is done very right. Furthermore, the portion size is sizeable. It's still not a cheap lunch, but you should be full by the end of it.
This is a very small place, but I've never been there around a meal time that they didn't have a line. I haven't tried much, but the prime rib dip is fantastic. I thought that going plain with no extra toppings was good, but tried with the added toppings (not free) and they were worth it. The flavor just gets... More
First a word of warning - service is SLOW and this will blow any diet. Great french dip sandwiches. I like the sirloin that is less greasy than the prime rib. French rolls are slathered in butter and then warmed on the grill before the sliced meat is pilled on. Au jus is hot and not too salty. Fries are... More
