Though the service is not always dependable and a bit on the slow side..you can't beat the prime rib specials. Sign up for their "club" and receive discounts and even more of a deal for a week night out. One of the few places you can find mud pie…for that alone it is worth a stop!

I don't consider this my first choice for a steak house, but given the location (closeness to the Hotel) we decided to try it out. We went out with a group of co-workers. The steaks were really good - above average. I would not say excellent. But the service on the other hand was excellent. The place is clean and... More

Whenever I get a hankering for Prime Rib (rare), usually around my birthday, I get a coupon for 2 & head for Black Angus. It rarely disappoints! There were actually 4 of us. We also used a coupon for steak & shrimp (the shrimp going to someone who only ordered a salad). As a side I ordered the scalloped potatoes... More

The service is always friendly & attentive the 6 times we have dined there. The food is really only worth it (barely) if you have a coupon. Last (& final) visit our streaks had chucks of fat.

Black Angus is a chain restaurant, specializing in steak and other beef dishes. We always get coupons in the mail for this place, and tonight we use one of the coupons -$18 for a sirloin with giant prawns special. I call them up at 715pm on a Saturday evening, and make a reservation for 15 minutes later. We drive on... More

My father and I ordered the 3/4 pound cut of Prime Rib this evening at the Sunnyvale Black Angus. We had great attentive service, but were unpleasantly surprised when our meals arrived. Although the cuts were cooked nicely to order, (one medium, and one medium rare), the portions had much to be desired. The cuts seemed overall thinner than expected... More

A friend an I visited Black Angus on a Saturday evening. After waiting 15-20 minutes, we were walked to our table, to find out to our surprise that more than half the restaurant was empty. I guess they didn't have sufficient staff to fill it up. The servant got our order relatively quickly, but then it took forever to get... More

Traveling alone on business, this place is right on the other side of the road from my hotel. I usually sit at their bar area, watching sports on the TV. Simple food, not great, not a lot of selection. Dishes are not that big - but satisfactory. Not a place you go for the atmosphere - but functional.

After flying across the country was very hungry and wanted a good steak. What we got was mediocre at best. The wait for food was extremely long, steak was ok, the sides were boring, and the price for all of thiscwas way too high! Not worth visiting!

Very disappointing. Had to wait twenty minutes for a table in waiting area even though restaurant was less than a quarter full. Food was okay, not great. Our car and three others were broken into in the parking lot, the attending police said that this was common at the angus, that the management has been advised to put in cctv,... More
