Must have to say how poorly planned the Reggaee event was! Was this the first year of this event to not know what to expect hum, I don't think so. So if this event has been done before why was it such a mess? Not enough food because they ran out, and the folks selling the tickets giving you wrong... More

The Breadfruit Tree is a great place-over all. The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful. The food is authentic and flavorful and you really feel like you're dining on a Caribbean island. 5/5. You MUST go there.

The Breadfruit Tree Restaurant in Stockton is a little remote to get to located at Paradise Point boat launch area. Get off I-5 and head West on Eight Mile road passing the Trinity Pkwy Shopping Center, the many Spanos communities, finally turning left (south) on Rio Blanco Road just before the King Island bridge. We just love the interior paint... More

You will not find this kind of food anywhere. From the pilau to the patties, and home made sangria, such fun. Get there early as the fill up quick, and you even have access from you boat on the delta. Not a fancy atmosphere and reasonably priced. Try it to get a wonderful taste of a culturally different food that... More

Tired of the same ole menus and food selections? Breadfruit Tree was a pleasant change. Our dinner selections were prepared beautifully with flavors that brought back fond memorie of the Caribbean. We were traveling from Palm Springs to the Pacific Northwest with a sleep over in Stockton and wanted a dinner different from the usual fare. What a nice surprise... More

Where else can you find great Caribbean food overlooking the water?! The service is definitely on "island time", but the food is well worth it.

It has been a while since dining at the Breadfruit tree. I always favor independent restaurants and Breadfruit tree has always been a local favorite if mine. First of all Breadfruit is located on the fringes of Stockton at Paradise Pt. where there is a large public dock. Cabin cruisers, houseboats, ski boats, and avid anglers all populate this marina... This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is very fresh, authentic and absolutely delicious! The owners, Louis and Valerie, are wonderful people and make the most delicious Jamaican food! Try the Peleau and their Jamaican iced tea. The chocolate rum cake with ice cream for dessert is yummy. The atmosphere of the restaurant is delightful and puts you... More

Not quite sure what they put in their punch but you could easily down two or three before your food arrives. Come to think of it, you will probably need two or three as this place can be wildly popular, and it can take some time before the food arrives. I think it is worth the wait but do not... More
