It has been a while since dining at the Breadfruit tree. I always favor independent restaurants and Breadfruit tree has always been a local favorite if mine. This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is very fresh, authentic and absolutely delicious! The owners, Louis and Valerie, are wonderful people and make the most delicious Jamaican food! Very nice little place, down byt he delta. they are only open during the summer months. Food is Caribbean and teh owners/ servers are wonderful people. they do NOT take credit cards.

We have been going to the Breadfruit Tree for 14 years. You have to know about it, it is hidden behind the building at Paradise Point. The food is wonderful, flavorful and some very spicy. Spicey, healthy, fresh and different foods with plenty of options for vegetarians. They have great curry rice dishes and very unique flavors. The restaurant sits right by the water and offers a nice sunset view. Very worth visiting!

Don't know how we missed this place- we've been boating in the Delta for years. But, someone recommended the Breadfruit Tree, and it quickly became a favorite.
