Red chili verde? Not bad!

Very nice experience with very tasty food and excellent service. I'll definitely visit again based upon my first experience. I'd never had Chili Verde in a red sauce before, but it was quite good.

I've always had good experiences here, but tonight, not at all. The supposed Co-owner refused to fix an order called in. When it was explained that my children have an allergy to tomatoes and there food was specifically ask to made a certain way, no tomato, I get home to none other than salsa in their food! I just spent... More

We visited on Sunday evening - after 7:30 pm. They were not busy but we had to wait for service. The salsa was good so we thought ... great meal to come. We were disappointed. I ordered chicken fajitas - you cannot miss. But they did. The vegetables were very undercooked. No caramelization - the chicken was pale - done... More

Beef Bean & Cheese Burrito was my first experience with Arroyo's, some 40+ years ago. I remember them when they were downtown on Center Street. I've grown up on this food and I must say, I love the fresh tortillas, I can eat them alone, just plain. I do regularly order the Beef Bean & Cheese Burrito dinner, NO I... More

We have been here a few times over a period of 4-5 years when visiting Stockton and have never been disappointed. The food is very consistent and great value. One word of caution, bring an appetite! The portions are huge.

I'll admit I haven't eaten at Arroyo's for some time. I love Mexican food and, as a California resident, I have a LOT of choices. My experience at Arroyo's was entirely average in every way. Nothing about it was exceptional and nothing made me want to come back. The short version? Their slogan says it all. If you want "a... More

This review is based on my last visit circa 2011... Ate here regularly from 2007-2010. Absolutely the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. The restaurant is wide open and clean and there is seating along the canal, which provides a nice view. From time to time they restaurant features a roaming Mariachi band (which I thoroughly enjoyed). The menu has... More

I was a guest of a college professor at the University of the Pacific and we came here after giving a presentation in his class. Good basic Mexican food, and very good quality. No frills atmosphere, but the food is good. I had the Taco, Enchilada, and Flauta Combination. Service is a bit slow. Salsa was on the thin side.... More

Wow what a great find. The food was served on large dinner plate. The food was piping hot and very good! I loved the portions and the staff was very nice. We came in 15 minutes before closing and they stayed open to allow us to enjoy our meal, we hadn't realized that we were keeping them from closing. The... More

Cheap beer during happy hour. Lots of screens to watch your favorite sporting event. Decent food with a friendly staff makes for an enjoyable dining experience. I would try it again if I was in the area. It is within walking distance from the Hilton, that's why I went there. It also has a nice view of a man-made lake.
