I've been eating there for (literally) decades and will continue to, even now I have to travel thousands of miles once a year. It's worth it. Authentic and plentiful. If you want obsequious service, go somewhere with bad food and high prices. This place is an institution.

The place is small and not up to date but who cares when the food is always good. Don't expect the servers to be super attentive but expect the food to meet your expectations.

We know great Mexican food and don't have much of a selection where we live. So what a treat to eat here! Family run authentic and delicious. If I ever have to select "my last meal" it might co dust if the flour tortillas here. Amazing home made deliciousness!!! The lunch special is great... One item plus beans, rice, salad,... More

Great food and lots of food for the price. You will leave satisfied. Beef quesadillas and chicken tacos are the bomb! Old building but worth the stop!

This is the dive restaraunt, that has been around for ever, that you keep going back to time and time again. Xochimilco is our family favorite go-to place for Mexican food. The food is tasty, salsa home made, and as a warning, the portions way larger than necessary. We always order the LUNCH version of whatever we want or items... More

When my family wants to go out for dinner, this is one of our usual spots. Their prices are great and portions huge enough to have lunch for the next day if you order a combo. Chips and salsa are fresh and good. This is a no frills, family run restaurant but what you get is authentic, great tasting food... More

The food was wonderful...especially the home made tortillas. The portions were generous! I so very much wanted to recommend this restaurant. But the downsides: servers in a hurry and kind of snappy, the space was noisy and chaotic, and a cockroach...yes...crawled across the table while we were eating.

Large portions great food and atmosphere like a family gathering. Space is limited however. This is the best food in town and better than what I have had in Mexico.

The food here is incredible. The best Mexican food. It is best to be here during the day. When the sun goes down, terrible neighborhood.

I love this place, they have great food and cool painting's to look at while you are waiting for your food :-) This is a huge hole in the wall (meaning it's big, comfy and has good food) in downtown Stockton.
