I was traveling to Stockton on a business trip with other co-workers who had been in Stockton for several weeks prior to my arrival. I could not believe they had not been to Bud's. We ordered the fried oysters and fried green tomatoes as appetizers. Both were very good and had a very good presentation. I ordered the Pesto stuffed... More

My husband and I ate here for our anniversary. We had a delicious meal. We began with some delicious sour dough French bread and butter. Next we had the house salad. Great tasting salad dressing. I had Thousand Island and my husband had Bleu Cheese. We both felt the dressing was the best tasting dressing. My husband had rib eye... More

My husband and I had gone to Bud's a few weeks ago and sat at the bar. Granted the beer was out-dated to the fact I couldn't drink it and had to order another one which they graciously did not charge us for. We ordered the raw oysters which were delicious. At that point we decided we would go back... More

We stopped at Bud's because of the good reviews. The Menu looks great and we were looking forward to a good meal. It started well with great french bread and very good clam chowder, but then disappointed. We had the Petrale Sole which was over breaded and over cooked and the jambalaya which was bland and uninspiring with overcooked shrimp... More

I found a hair in my salad. The catfish was so greasy I could not eat it. Upside, went a 2nd time and the filet medallions were excellent. No hair in salad this time. Service is pretty good. This place gets busy, with an older crowd, and quite noisey but I would go back for the filet medallions.

This restaurant has been in business a long time but we had never been there before. After trying it recently, we have been back 3 more times. The service has been excellent and the restaurant very clean with a variety of things on the menu. Their Bud's beef is one thing they are known for and it is excellent, very... More

My husband and I were headed back to Oakland and we reached Stockton around dinner time. We decided on Buds since we were in mood for clam chowder and it was recommended per trip advisor. We weren't disappointed. We were there for happy hour so the pricing was very reasonable for CA. I had the Buds beef which was very... More

I've had brunch, lunches, many dinners and even had their "Bud's beef" catered. Consistently wonderful. If you like fish it is always perfectly prepared. Highest recommendations, and I'm kinda picky.

Clam chowder.....awesome.....macadamia crusted sole will fill your soul with happiness. Just wish the butter was not cold so it woul spread on the bread easier.

Best seafood restaurant in the area. Good wine list and menu is full of excellent choices. It's in Lincoln Center with very good parking in front of the bar and entrance.
