Super nice people, damn good Northern Thai cuisine, and a warm and inviting environment. Our new go to Thai joint in the area.

White Elephant is a very small out of the way restaurant in the Brentwood neighborhood. The food is very tasty with good sized portions and the prices are reasonable. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended if you are in the neighborhood. My favorites are the basil chicken and pad mee noodles.

This place is small local restaurant, off a major road but basically in a neighborhood. Not fancy but we found the food to be tasty and very affordable. There are only about 8 tables in the place. When we walked in (happened to be staying down the road in San Bruno and wanted to avoid all of the chain restaurants... More

Stumbled upon this place on our way from SFO. Looked it up on TA and decided to stop. Area and decor are not the best but the food was yummy. I had the summer rolls - they were very fresh. Spouse had the pad thai - very good. Worth the stop and would be back the next time we're coming... More

I love Thai food!!! and had some of the worse Panang Beef Curry here. The meat i swear was pot roast beef, it was fatty and tasted like pot roast. The portion of rice to curry was horrible, there was only enough curry to cover half of the rice. The Tom Gai soup was good. I will not go back... More

Terrible services. Dark environment. Waiter does not speak good English - at least not enough to provide a good service. Expensive. I've order a steak that was not really good... It seems an old restaurant.

FOOD: The food here was fairly decent. But I'm not sure that it's exceptional enough to command the inflated price. We enjoyed the red curry and spicy duck but were underwhelmed by the skimpy meat-to-veggie ratio. Also, the Tom Yom soup, though satisfactory overall, was a tad under seasoned. SERVICE: The service was top-notch. Our waitress was very upbeat, helpful,... More

Found this place by a different name when looking for a place for lunch. Anyway the Thai food was good and the atmosphere was like being in Thailand. So I give this place a thumbs up for lunch.

We were visiting the SF Bay area and wanted Thai food. We found really good Thai food at the White Elephant. The glass noodle salad was super good, pad thai yummy, and the ginger garlic black mushroom veggie dish was nicely done. Great staff. Love small personal eateries like this one. Would definitely return.

Very yummy Thai food. A little hole in the wall with slow service, but the food is definitely worth the wait. The stuffed eggplant is amazing. The yellow and green curries were among the best I've had (and I'm a green curry snob). The Pad See Eew tasted like it does everywhere else, so order something more interesting. Soup was... More
