A rare Vietnamese restaurant in South SF!

First time in this area and found this Vietnamese restaurant from Tripadvisor. I love their chicken rice.

Good vietnamese. Five spice chicken is ok, but go with old standards like vermicelli bowl; pho or rice plates with lemon grass beef/chicken;

In town for a quick visit and looking for something good for dinner. Be aware that there is limited parking on the main street and that the parking meters on the side streets require coins. We ended up finding parking in a lot a block away that took dollar bills. It was a min $3 charge. Anyway on to the... More

They switched locations to the 500 block of Grand Ave. If I ever feel like pho, this is where I go in SSF. They have a lot more seating in the new location, but you still have to get there by 11:45AM on the weekdays or you're going to have a wait.

I liked the food when this restaurant was at its old location and was looking forward to eating at the new location closer to city hall. The old location was getting run down and needed a major face lift and remodeling but I guess the owners opted for a larger space and a better location toward the middle part of... More

Great location right on the main street. Be aware that it has moved further down the road though. Portion sizes, price and options are good. Really can't go wrong.

The food is excellent, fresh, original, served with a smile. We will be back for more. Find Ben Tre on 398 Grand Avenue South San Francisco, CA 94080 ProTip: flying out of SFO: just take 45 minutes to have a really good meal and your on the airport within 15 minutes.

I believe there are two locations of this restaurant this one in South San Francisco and one in Millbrae. The food is excellent, authentic,and very fresh especially the veggies are nice and bright, you do see many Vietnamese there and that is a testament of the quality of the food.Once again if you do venture into my village give it... I sat outside on a weekend afternoon enjoying the fire in the sun. There's very little atmosphere to this place although the waitstaff is quite friendly and attentive. I was surprised to find such good home-cooked Vietnamese food in this area.

Haven't been to the one in South SF (if there is one there) but the one in Millbrae is excellent and the prices are very reasonable - was introduced to this place through a friend who is from Vietnam so she would know what good Vietnamese food tastes like! They have all kinds of stuff on their menu, great portions... More
