Wanted somewhere close to SFO so we could entertain our daughter and granddaughter between flights. Food was delicious, served promptly and friendly staff. Quite busy, space is limited. We will actually go back just to eat. Only complaint, the toilets were shabby.

I decided to try Ben Tre based on the great ratings. When I approached, it looked like a nice place with patio seating. Inside was more like a standard Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant; nothing special. I ordered the grilled chicken over garlic noodles --- a house special. The noodles were perfectly prepared ("4"), but I was not enamored with the garlic sauce... More

It's been more than a year since I last ate at this restaurant. I ordered my usual grilled pork chop with rice. It is as delicious as I remember it. It's so good to know that this place has been consistent with their food. The service is still very fast. It continues to be very crowded and wait time can... More

First off, the service was less than stellar but this may be due more to perceived cultural differences rather than a personal vendetta against my presence lol. By that I mean that service was super quick but the server never smiled, never made any eye contact, and pretty much just slid my plates my way without saying a word. Now... More

We felt like in Vietnam, where we liked the food very much. 80-90% of the guests were Vietnamese/Asian, which tells a lot. Great spring rolls, fresh and fried, and also the BBQ beef and the shrimp claypot were very tasty. Service and Atmosphere were authentic as well. Would come back!

Very good, huge portions, super tasty grilled meat. Had the #30 and the pork salad rolls - perfect amount of food for two people. We were stuffed.

I only come here for the Pho. The broth is warm; I like it hot. The flavor is okay-nothing special. My dad tried their garlic noodles last week. It was a large serving but he didn't care for it much. The best garlic noodles at Than Long in San Francisco is much better; however, it will cost you a lot... More

I was in the Bay Area on business, and stayed within walking distance of this great little place. There are several restaurants in the area so the reviews on tripadvisor helped me select this one. I knew I had made the right choice once I walked in the door - the restaurant was full of locals enjoying the wonderful food.... More

When I stay in South San Francisco, I like to carryout my lunch or dinner from this restaurant. The portions are large, tasty, and very affordable! This is my favorite dining or take-out place in South San Francisco.

We stayed in SF for 5 days and ate in this restaurant twice. We tried the raw beef pho, it was nice but it could be better if soup was hot. Other things else were quite good.
