We eat here occasionally in the hope it will improve but the opportunity to make a great restaurant in a great location is never taken. Service is slow but cheerful and the cooking seems to involve moving frozen food into the microwave then onto the plate. It's consistently disappointing.

If you are willing to drive closer to the city you can find much better options for the price. The restaurant was clean and quaint but the service and food quality was just ok. Sat at the bar to eat since I was alone, the new bartender in training didn't appear to be very comfortable speaking to patrons or his... More

We were welcomed into the restaurant by Richard the general manager, and our most excellent server was Lulu. It is because of these people that we will be back! Warm, personable and fun...did I mention the food? The meals we had were so delicious...the Chef is from Peru! Interesting food! I had the Poorman steak, huge portion, unable to finish... More

We were staying at the Inn at Oyster Point and were tired and looking for a convenient place to eat. The restaurant far exceeded our expectations. We we first arrived it was very quiet, but filled rather quickly. Nonetheless, the service was simply excellent. Oh yes, and food was quite good as well. There is a very nice outdoor eating... More

Not very good. Staff attentive and place clean. Excellent clam chowder. Oysters were shucked on site, but not real fresh. Garlic Cod was fishy and far too much garlic, perhaps that is why. Blackened ahi was gritty and mushy and served over mashed potatoes with steamed broccoli. Very odd. Would have been rated a 3/10 except clam chowder so good... More

The small restaurant in the Inn on Oyster Point is unprepossessing but an all-around pleasant surprise. Once the noisy 12 people having drinks around one table left (early during our dinner) the ambiance was pleasant, with the view of the Bay out the window. Outdoor tables are also available, but there is generally a breeze on the deck, so dress... More

Go here, it's not too expensive, and the view is great, the food is very good. Try for a happy hour get together, or a weekend rendezvous.

We got there just before sunset and enjoyed happy hour with light meals and beers, and watched the light change on the bay. It was clear enough to see Mt Diablo and the windows in the Oakland Hills catch the last of the sun. Pleasant place, good food, attentive service: good way to end the day!

Nice little place , did not realize it was in the Oyster Point hotel, after some time .. I found it. I was kind of worried, the atmosphere was the stair at you as you arrived by the very few people there.I felt uncomfortable but after that everyone was nice from that point and the food was excellent. My wife... More
