The atmosphere here is fantastic - pretty restaurant - features a rather exclusive menu and special offerings. Innovative cuisine and integrity at all times. Great place for a special occasion - try to visit at off-peak hours if possible as it is popular and rather small environment. Delicious specials - your favorite menu items are dependable and exciting at the... More

Good selection of Mexican style food. they have very good specials and a great variety of Margaritas. Limited wine selection. Can be crowded and noisy at dinner. Good service and tasty all you can eat chips & salsa. A bit pricey for some items.

As for the staff, we had a different experience from the previous review. We were promptly seated and everyone was friendly. We had to wait for another party and the staff was understanding, brought drinks and took our order only after we were ready. We picked a table beneath the speaker, but the waiter graciously turned down the volume for... More

Though I will give Tortilla Flats Restaurant kudos for the food the staff there rates poorly for congeniality. First time there they refused to seat us because our whole party had not arrived. Second time there we were asked to leave because they needed the table for people who were waiting. I personally find it rude for a staff to... More

Some friends had told us this was a great place to eat, don't know what was not going on the night we ate there, the 26th of march. The service was slow and bad, the food was just so so, and to top it off the price was tooo high. They could of had a off night, but when 3... More

O.K. Not every review can be as easy as the Swan Oyster Depot in San Francisco. Tortilla Flats is just what everybody says: cozy, friendly, etc. But really? Refried beans without cheese? The Chili Relleno was very good, but lacking any ZIP. C'mon, man! Flavor this puppy up with something! The tamales saved the day! VERY GOOD tamales! My Grand... More

Not only best margaritas but excellent food! We've been there several times an never been disappointed . Well worth the wait! The salmon crepes was excellent I want to go back tomorrow for more. A little noisy for a romantic dinner but I think the food will over ride that . Advise...don't drive after more than one original margarita !!!!!!!

There's much to like about this tiny local eatery - food is innovative, a cozy and friendly vibe, and I love their collection of Mexican pottery on the walls. But I have issues with paying $14 -$15 for an entree that arrives with no rice, beans, or even a parsley (or guess I should say cilantro) sprig. This isn't Ruth's... More

We were regulars at Tortilla Flats until a month or two ago. We loved the food and margaritas; it was our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The food is still great, but they've weakened the margaritas. When we commented that the ($12) margaritas didn't seem to have much tequila in them any more, our server said that the owners... More
