I have been to this restaurant 3 times in 1 month. They have such a wonderful menu with different items that you don't see everyday. Plus they have items for the people that are not real foodies. I had the Grilled Portabello sandwich, when it arrived to the table the roasted aroma begged me to take a bite right away.... More

I like the SP but I don't love it. On paper, it should be awesome- a great selection of beers and a range of food options. I'm not sure if it's the televisions on every wall, the cavernous/impersonal feel, or the above mediocre food, but I just don't love going here. I want to like it more and I'd recommend... More

Great place to hang out, have some drinks, watch the game, and enjoy the fish tacos. Tuesdays are always "Taco Tuesdays". Great price for good tacos!

Setting is in a large masonry building with attractive appearance. This does cause a noise issue when it's crowded. They are located in a quiet neighborhood with very little traffic. Parking is ample. Food is quite good. We had sandwiches and sampled others food. It's all good. Garlic fries are really garlicy. The turkey products use turkey raised nearby. Plenty... More

I had the half pound Standard burger and it was excellent. The sweet potato fries were okay, but the burger was better. Next time I'll try the regular fries or tots! The ambience of this place was great. We sat out on the balcony. We were a large group but the waitress didn't put the 18% tip that normal restaurants... More

When I first arrived for lunch all seemed promising and I liked the atmosphere of open airiness.. The hostesses were very accommodating and the wait staff person came quickly to cheerfully greet me and bring me a beverage. I have dietary restrictions and explained that I'd like a salmon burger that comes with sriracha mayonnaise without the bread and tomatoes.... More

Went there for lunch recently with a group of 9. Large selection of craft beers, and the wait staff seemed knowledgeable about the beer selection, which is definitely not standard. Although the restaurant was not too crowded on that Saturday afternoon, it was a little noisy, I think mostly because it is a big old brick/cement building that bounces the... More

Again, five stars comes in all shapes and sizes. In this case, great atmosphere, friendly service, nice presentation of food, locally sourced and house-made specialties in the heart of California Gold Country near the gateway to Yosemite National Park. The Standard Pour hit the mark in a variety of ways. Love the ambiance. Wide open and spacious. Beautiful hardwood floors,... More

And old, large converted building ...once the administrative offices of the Pickering Mill. Today it sports a long, beutiful wooden bar and a wide assortment of beers. We did not eat but others were eating hamburgers at the end of the bar in late afternoon. There are tables as well as private rooms for group gatherings. For pleasant service, ask... More

Diamondback in Sonora is a place I would bring anyone to for a wonderful burger or other freshly served beef or fish dinner. So what is up with Standard Pour? After 5 years and 6 visits (3 lunches, 3 dinners) I'm still very disappointed. A lackluster menu and very noisy environment make it difficult to enjoy Standard Pour. I want... More
