Great restaurant and very popular

the sunflower café is very good. Different from some as you order at a counter and then the food it brought to you, but it was very good and the garden area for the tables was very nice.

Great coffee and back seating area is very nice. Days get hot in the summer in Sonoma, so havng coffee under the shade is a good idea. They have some good sandwiches and great desserts. prices are reasonable for the Square

Was there some months ago and, as I always do, requested extra salad dressing. Shockingly, cashier/order-taker said 'no,' explaining that they only make enough dressing for salads to be sold. Really? When food was served, I asked runner if he could bring additional dressing. He returned, affirming 'no' to original request. Totally ridiculous - you've GOT to be kidding. Never... More

We sat out on their lovely patio and had a most delicious breakfast. All of us and we had regular, a vegan and a gluten free in our party. We would return again!

Everything looked really good. Had the spinach and goat cheese omelet, which was great. Waffle was good but just a waffle. Didn't like the juice blended drink...what too much smoothie and was hoping for a better

A cafe where you order at the counter and sit out side on the back patio. Came for breakfast and food was very good. They are closing for a period to remodel, so call ahead. Very popular and had a line out the door, but moves quickly and plenty of seating. Great location in downtown. Waffels, breakfast sandwiches, Omelets.

Great find and so glad we stumbled upon it on a week day. Everything was fresh and delicious! We walked by on Saturday and Sunday and the line was out the door and down the sidewalk for breakfast and lunch!

The Sunflower is a trendy Sonoma breakfast, lunch spot with a great selection of different types of dishes. Yes, you can get the standard egg dishes, omelets, French toast, ham, egg & cheese on croissant, bagels with lox, etc, but to have a slice of multi-grain with fromage blanc and prosciutto, some cracked pistachio and a drizzle of honey, well,... Dinned in the courtyard at the back of the restaurant, very cozy. Breakfast was fresh and reasonably priced.

We dined here on Monday, which was a lovely day, and perfect for sitting outside on the back patio. On a rainy day, Sunflower Caffe might not be your best choice, since indoor seating is very limited! First, the good stuff. My grilled cheese and black bean sandwich was incredible. The menu describes it as "messy", and it is. But... More
