Worth a visit. Our first breakfast on our first visit to California. Food was very good and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Would definitely go to this restaurant on our next trip.

Tagging along with friends (locals) for dinner, we were pleased with the overall experience. Menu was broad and easy to choose from. Food and service were far above average -- qualities that made for a very nice dinner. Make sure to ask for the special pie dessert -- home made!

We stopped here on our way to the Sonoma Coast as it was recommended by others on this site and is away from the crowded downtown plaza. The parking is good and the clientele seemed mostly locals. We had lunch which was nothing special and a bit expensive. Since it was Sunday, many were eating breakfast and it looked like... More

This is a great place to eat if you don't want a fancy wine country meal. It's just good cooking. They have steaks and a few standard entrees plus daily specials. The Jambaliya is always great as are the vegetarian enchilada on Saturday night is outstanding. Best of all they have a great bar. The martinis are excellent as are... More

Great breakfast spot for traditional or unique breakfast choices such as the black bean la bamba bowl served with fresh salsa and the tomato and avocado eggs Benedict were fantastic! Will definitely return!!

Breakaway Cafe is one of our favorite places to eat. Easy to get to and always comfortable. On any given night the owner, Bob, will pass through saying hello, sometimes even bringing out a dish. Food is fresh and creative. The Monday night pot roast is one of those comfort food dinners, as is the pulled pork on dutch crunch... More

We have been to The Breakaway Cafe twice now in one week for breakfast. Both were good experiences. Polite and attentive service. I tried the Corned Beef Hash today. My husband enjoyed the pancakes and bacon. They have some unique mexican offerings. Last time I tried the Machaca Con Huevos. It was shredded pork, mild pasilla peppers and onions in... More

I went here for dinner my first night in town. Had fish and chips and a root beer float. Both were quite satisfying.

We Went to The Breakaway Cafe for dinner, after a day of wine-tasting. The pulled pork tacos and fish tacos were both very good-- we did a mix and match and shared both. The restaurant is bright and has ample seating, no reservations taken or needed. Our server was pleasant and attentive. This really was a nice break away from... More

We have been to Breakaway for breakfast, which is always great, and thought we'd try it for dinner. My husband had a very tender and juicy steak, I had the lamb special. This was the best lamb I had ever eaten in a restaurantp; it was melt in my mouth tender and very flavorful. The portion was huge. Our wait... More
