Restaurant come shop....lots of cheese and meats...great for gifts too. They make tasty sandwiches - perfect for a picnic on the square opposite the shop. The sandwiches are huge - so unless you are really hungry - they can be shared.

This is a combined shop and restaurant. The shop has (naturally) lots of cheeses, but plenty of other stuff too, including salads, snacks, cakes, drinks. As for the food, there is an outdoor barbecue section, a panini/ toasted sandwich station (which we tried & was very good), normal sandwiches, cakes, platters of fruit/ cheese etc. There a few tables inside... This used to be one of our favorite places to go on day trips to Napa, I have great memories of sampling and buying cheese and fudge. That's why I was so disappointed during our most recent visit! They used to offer lots of samples of truly unique cheeses. This time, we only saw two sampling bins, and one was... More

I could shop here all day. More cheese than I've ever seen. Wine. Olives. Oils. Breads. Crackers. Nice people. Good location.

In the Sonoma town square...quaint deli, restaurant, market type place. Lots of cheese samples. We popped in for a quick sandwich...the pulled pork was great. Deli sandwiches, Paninis and BBQ. Plus shop for cheese items and wine related gifts.

The service definitely could have been better. There's a sign that says something like, "more cheeses to try upon request" and so I requested to try more cheese. They only had two flavors to sample and I was planning on buying something, but I wanted a spicy cheese. I told the girl working there that I'd like to try two... More

Not only can you sample some great cheese, they have fudge samples, great sandwiches and lots of wine/cheese gift items! The addition of the BBQ patio is also nice.

This is a very extensive deli, which naturally focuses on cheese. There are many opportunities to taste and it tasted excellent (which leads to buying, of course). The shop has a very wide range of products. Within the store is also a small dining area with simple dishes.

We stopped in Sonoma for lunch during a trip around the Wine Country and we chose The Cheese Factory deli out of several other restaurants that were dotted around the town square. We chose well. We sat out side at the bar-b-que terrace where my wife had the delicious pulled pork sandwich and I had one of the best burgers... More

There were only 3 different cheeses available to sample at the time which was disappointing since it's called a cheese factory. The flavors available to sample were cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese and a garlic cheese. The garlic cheese was delicious with just a hint of garlic, not overpowering at all. You can also sample other cheese flavors that they... More
