Sampling new and different varieties of everyday cheeses. From the extra sharp cheddar, outstanding, to the different varieties of Jack Cheese, especially the habenero.

This seems to be the spot the locals come to get their cheese, wine and a quick bite to eat. Even if you are not buying, it is a interesting place to look around and check out the local products. There is also a cafe inside the Cheese Factory, where they serve sandwiches and ice creams.

Love this deli. Great BBQ, all kinds of wonderful cheeses, many available for tasting. Right on the square. Either get a custom deli sandwich, or better yet, grab some QUE, pull up a seat and enjoy the deli

This really is a grocery store specializing in cheeses, sausages, wines and general picnic fare, with a separate sandwich counter for takeout orders. We picked up cheeses, sausage, some fruit and wine for a picnic at our rental cottage, as well as a few foodie souvenirs from the region, and for that the Cheese Factory fit our needs. The baguettes... More

Park around Sonoma Plaza, grab a picnic table, walk across the street and pick up wine & cheese, sandwiches, deli salads, and relax! Then visit the mission, train depot museum, shops, wine tasting. Our family Sonoma Day (Father's Day this year) for 50 years.

It's a whole deli with other picnic odds and ends. They make great sandwiches. Hot BBQ and BBQ sandwich orders filled quickly. Deli ran slow. Make sure you have everything you want before you get in line to order (drinks, snacks, etc). Otherwise you have to get back in line.

Visited here a couple years ago and it was soooo good we had to go back on this visit. The cheese selection is fantastic but the hidden gem are the sandwiches on the outdoor porch. Had the BEST tri-tip taco ever made Cooked to perfection and as tender as meat can get. Everyone needs to visit when in Sonoma

This cheese shop is not easy to find - it is several blocks off the main drag. But the trip was worth it! They were kind enough to let us try several varieties before we settled on one. Then we kept it in the refrig at the hotel and enjoyed it for several days. Bravo!

I went here with my fiancee, on break from our Wine Tour. We had gone to the Jacuzzi Winery and were now taking a lunch break with our tour. We stopped in a park and our tour guide told us the different options there were in the area. We decided to go to the Sonoma Cheese Factory. I ended up... More
