Description: Executive chef Armando Navarro's farm driven cuisine is a collection of earthy yet sophisticated, complex yet straightforward dishes that showcase the essence of seasonal produce. Chef Navarro sources his ingredients from local purveyors and nearby Sonoma farms, a commitment and dedication that is in line with El Dorado’s overall eco-friendly green initiatives.Navarro’s deeply satisfying cuisine can be enjoyed at El Dorado Kitchen. In the center of the main dining room, parties of up to 22 can gather around a 21-foot-long table fashioned from a single wood plank reclaimed from a Vermont bridge. This table is perfectly positioned to afford each diner a view of the artistic talents hard at work in the open kitchen. An outdoor courtyard allows diners to enjoy the beauty of Sonoma. Enjoy dinner under the fig trees and the clear Sonoma sky or take your lunch pool-side in your own private cabana or on one of the inviting day beds by the pool. We also offer casual dining in our lobby, nestled next to the glowing fireplace.

Last night my husband and I and another couple enjoyed a delicious dinner at El Dorado Kitchen in Sonoma. We started with a great bottle of wine followed by delicious appetizers. I recommend the Butternut Squash Soup and the Roasted Beet Salad. The best dinner entrees were the Lobster Risotto and the Paella although everything was delicious! Everyone enjoyed their... More

Our reservations were kept and a table awaited our next discovery. We were surprised to find a less challenging offering but, nevertheless, a meal well prepared and served. The drink order had to be reduced from an Irish Whiskey desired to 'well' scotch, due to a smaller bar offering. My mate had the Pork which was presented with a nice... More

We enjoyed a special night out with friends while in wine country. While the menu is not large, the food was exceptional and delivered with excellent, well-paced service. Made for a memorable Saturday night out!

Great location right on the square in downtown Sonoma with excellent food. Our friend who works in the local hotel industry chose this place for dinner and we could not have been happier. Outstanding food and fun atmosphere made this a very enjoyable evening. Menu is not terribly long but there were enough choices to satisfy most every taste. Food... More

Second time dining at El Dorado Kitchen. Was great the first time, superb the second time. Very knowledgeable waiter, helpful with the wine pairing and the chefs do some great things with lamb and duck in particular. One of our favorites in Sonoma!

Fairly expensive for the average person, perhaps for special occasion. In the past, I have been put off by the noise in the interior compounded by the 'Metro Music' pulsing away making the ability to hear what is being said nearly impossible. A bit 'precious' but SF city folk may find it more to their taste. The front cafe is... More

This was our second time dining at the El Dorado Kitchen and we loved it even more than our first visit. Beautiful, modern setting, excellent service and fresh, tasty food mad for a memorable meal. The highlight was the gnocchi dish with black truffles that was just so warm, comforting and delicious that we couldn't stop raving about it! Everything... More

We have only been to this restaurant once and would not go back. I ordered a steak dinner medium and have to send it back as it was very rare. After I watched them look at it a couple times they cooked it some more then returned it to our table still rare. I didn't want to wait any longer... More
