Great Food

Wonderful food, good service and fun staff. One of the recommendations that lived up to the verbal recommendation we received! The tuna tartar and asparagus salad were wonderful!

We had dinner at El Dorado kitchen. The staff was very friendly and made recommendations for food and wine. The wine list is extensive and there is a choice of fantastic wines. We had the Pinot Blanc Carneros which was lovely. The food was good but in my opinion nothing out of the ordinary despite the high price. The arancini... More

Food and service was great. Excellent tuna tartar and crab cake starters. I had the Paella for my main course that was very tasty! Wine list is heavy on Cali juice but offers some Italian, German and French vintages. Outdoor seating is available in a cozy courtyard. Very nice dinning spot in Sonoma town!

The El Dorado Kitchen met or exceeded our dining expectation. From hostess to wait staff to a very pleasurable dining experience El Dorado is on the mark. The restaurant is larger than we expected yet the layout is designed to balance customer noise. The wait staff maintained a personable and unintrusive approach in table visits to check on us. Well done on all accounts and on their beautiful back patio. The service was attentive and helpful with suggestions. A nice Sonoma area wine list to round it out.

I always like the food here in general. The waiter came to tell us that the kitchen was backed up and brought us a huge plate of truffle fries. We do not eat really greasy food but we had a couple anyway and they were tasty. They have a good kids menu if you are dining with your children, good... More

This was a popular place for diners. It is right on the square in Sonoma. We had some good food but the dining area was a bit hectic and hurried for a great experience. Kitchen is open and staff can be heard barking orders so it was a bit distracting.

Came here for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Were seated right away although it was close to 11am on a Sunday. Menu had a good selection for brunch - including lobster. I ordered the french toast and it was lovely as was the coffee. Friendly service too.

We were directed to this restaurant by the concierge of our hotel. We have been coming to Sonoma for many years, but had not dined in this facility. We ate on the patio behind the main room. The food was both exciting and delicious. The wine list included a broad range of wines by the glass. The draft beer selection... More

Some of the best wait staff I have ever seen in an area restaurant. Preparation and presentation was excellent. Quality of food: UNCOMPROMISING! I cannot believe this was the first time I ate here considering how often I go to downtown Sonoma.
