Had dinner here with friends and the food was top notch. Maybe it was the good pear cider that we had, but we enjoyed every bite.

During our girls weekend trip last year, we got to the hotel in the late afternoon and walked to the plaza for dinner. We had heard good things about several places, but we liked this menu the best. Knowing we would be drinking a lot of wine over the next few days, we all opted for different cocktails and they... More

When you have a restaurant on Sonoma Square, you have to be top-notch to make it. Tried EDK just because we hadn't yet, certainly not for lack of great restaurants in walking distance. Not surprised but definitely impressed. The menu was intriguing, even their simple salad was delightful. If I had a complaint, and it's not really a complaint, it... More

For me, this is the go to place for cocktails in Sonoma. Creative cocktails, yummy appetizers to accompany, and fun vibe.

Last night we ate at El Dorado Kitchen and we had a superb meal and excellent service. We have lived in Sonoma for many years and have been to this same location before under different restaurant names, chefs, etc. We've always left thinking "good, not great, and definitely not worth the money". Last night it was a completely different experience:... More

After an unsuccessful dinner at a different restaurant the previous night, we were pretty frustrated. Plus we were told the only slot we could have before 8:15 pm was 6:00 pm. We took it. Grumpily, but we took it. The service was superb. Our waiter was knowledgable and very professional. Everyone agreed that their meal was excellent. Ordered were Pappardelle... More

Lunch with friends...ordered differently and shared everything...Good, not great. Nothing wrong with anything we ate, but nothing had that Wow factor. Too many amazing places in Sonoma if you're here for just a couple days. $11 for frozen French fries with truffle oil drizzle...please...ugh! The push to 3 stars is only for our service...a friendly lady, not girl, who was... More

We've tried other restaurants, but keep returning, time and again to the EDK. The service is first rate, the food isn't overly precious, but always delicious and we can't get enough of the fresh Dungeness crab salad at lunch! We love all the bright flavors and the varied menu here! This time around at dinner, we tried the butternut squash... More

This very modern restaurant is located in a historic downtown Sonoma hotel - very chic. Wonderful atmosphere with very nice service. Reservation was made on Open Table and they also called to confirm the reservation the day before. I had the crab salad which was fresh and tasty! My friend had a burger and fries and I do believe she... More
