my guests make me take them here when they return to Sonoma - says it all!

If you have been out drinking wine and dancing the night away at Steiners Tavern on the plaza, this is the place to go for 'the morning after'. Chuck is your host, my brother still likes to call him 'Pearl', but its Chuck! I have brought my family here for Mother's Day before even - its a place... read more

Ate there twice. Good people, good food. Reasonably priced. Good home cooking, not foo foo food found elsewhere in Sonoma.

We stopped for a late breakfast. I got eggs and fried French toast with a side of Polish sausage. The eggs were ok, just eggs. The Polish sausage was basically a foot-long hot dog, split and grilled, kinda icky. The French toast was crusty and a little greasy. My husband's bacon was awesome though. The decor is meant to be... More

Lots of locals eat here. I can see why. I had a traditional breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and hash browns. The sourdough toast was really good. They gave me 4 pieces of bacon. You usually only get 3. Hash browns are shredded. There was nothing fancy about this place but the waitress was attentive and friendly.

Good food, good service! Great, casual breakfast spot in Sonoma. Would definitely recommend! Not sure how often the owner is at the restaurant but he was there when we dined and even took our order -- a nice touch!

Diverse menu, friendly helpful staff but the most important factors to me were the huge portion size and delicious! Omelets were great, pancakes were great, simply nothing to complain about! Loved the chicken fried steak! Also enjoyed sitting outside and eating, but that's due to the weather and not the view! It's in a commercial strip.

My wife and were visiting Sonoma for the day and we decided to give Pearl's a try. The food overall was very average with nothing to really make it stand out. Apparently our waitress was new however, she did an adequate job. We both ordered an entree/side plus a side salad so we thought it was odd when we got... More

Four of us recently had breakfast at Pearls and I would describe it as good with huge portions. The pancakes are quite large and crepe like. The bacon was crispy and the hash browns crispy which is the way I like them. The other members of our party all enjoyed their breakfasts as well. Ambiance is non existent and service... More

I went here based on the reviews here on TA. I really don't see what the big deal is. It's a wannabe diner with pretty lame decor and no ambiance of any kind within a mini-mall. The pancakes were very good but everything else was average or below. Very small amount of old looking hasbrowns that came with basic eggs... More

Not exactly sure HOW we ended up at Pearls for breakfast...but glad we did! All four of us ordered something different - none of us left disappointed or hungry! We had a self claimed "pancake/breakfast critic" who said his cakes ranked right at the top of his list. Scrambled eggs are light and puffy (okay...more than puffy! Looks more like... More
