Diverse menu, friendly helpful staff but the most important factors to me were the huge portion size and delicious! Omelets were great, pancakes were great, simply nothing to complain about! Loved the chicken fried steak! Also enjoyed sitting outside and eating, but that's due to the weather and not the view! It's in a commercial strip.

My wife and were visiting Sonoma for the day and we decided to give Pearl's a try. The food overall was very average with nothing to really make it stand out. Apparently our waitress was new however, she did an adequate job. We both ordered an entree/side plus a side salad so we thought it was odd when we got... More

Four of us recently had breakfast at Pearls and I would describe it as good with huge portions. The pancakes are quite large and crepe like. The bacon was crispy and the hash browns crispy which is the way I like them. The other members of our party all enjoyed their breakfasts as well. Ambiance is non existent and service... More

I went here based on the reviews here on TA. I really don't see what the big deal is. It's a wannabe diner with pretty lame decor and no ambiance of any kind within a mini-mall. The pancakes were very good but everything else was average or below. Very small amount of old looking hasbrowns that came with basic eggs... More

Not exactly sure HOW we ended up at Pearls for breakfast...but glad we did! All four of us ordered something different - none of us left disappointed or hungry! We had a self claimed "pancake/breakfast critic" who said his cakes ranked right at the top of his list. Scrambled eggs are light and puffy (okay...more than puffy! Looks more like... More

Was looking around as an alternative to the tourist traps in sonoma,, and came across PEARLS by accident. what a TREAT. Was there for LUNCH, My companion had a generous and delightful portion of meat Loaf with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes, I had the FISH TACO with asian salad, which was quite a wonderful treat, fresh and well presented....... Just a bit off the square, Pearl's was filled with locals and might have been our best meal of the weekend. Great food and great service.

Very friendly staff with generous portions. My omelette was big enough to feed a family of 4 with very fresh ingredients. Very open atmosphere with home made jam on each table. Do not be fooled by the location in the strip mall.

Don't miss Pearl's when you are in Sonoma. Great local diner. Excellent food, great service and a charming environment. I love an open kitchen. They had a nice crowd when i was there and the food came out incredibly fast

If you like French Toast (fried, of course even though they offer grilled version, too) Pearl's is the place for you to have a breakfast to make you feel warm and fuzzy. Try the fork scrambled eggs and the sausages that taste like no other sausage you had before. And you don't have to pay the special tourist prices either.
