Staying at the Fairmont Mission Inn and valet parking you choose their slightly-off-premises diner for breakfast to avoid getting the car out and hunting down another restaurant. And, since you are in an area that is border line commercial and low-income housing, alternatives don't seem readily available. All-in-all they did a fairly good job of preparing breakfasts at an almost... More

This place has been around for a long time and the experience shows. Service was very efficient and food was prepared perfectly. My apple pancakes looked like they could have been taken from a photograph in a food magazine and my wife declared her fruit cup with its finely cut chunks of numerous different fruits to be the best she's... Had a great lunch here during a spa day at the fairmont. We had hanger steak and gouda mashed potatoes and asparagus and it was phenomenal. we also shared the crab quesadilla which was really delicious and could work as a meal in itself as well! highly recommend and i wouldn't hesitate to dine here again on another spa day... This restaurant is not what you typically would expect with a resort but the food was good. The place needs to be refreshed as it looks a bit worn and the layout is odd. However, we ate here 4 mornings and enjoyed it. The fruit cup was extremely fresh and my favorite part of the meal. The spinach, mushroom, and... More

The food is very good but pricey. Coffee is great. However, the check-in process is awkward at best and the carpet is threadbare. A pair of chairs in the waiting area are dirty and need reupholstering. Go for breakfast only; there are places in Glen Ellen and Sonoma that are far better for lunch in terms of setting and charm.

Had wonderful blueberry pancakes and really good service. We go often for breakfast and today the pancakes were outstanding.

My husband and I had breakfast at the Big 3 Cafe twice during our stay. Both times it was a very delicious meal. It was a bit pricey, so be prepared.

Great breakfast! Best apple griddle. Pancakes I ever ate! Service was wonderful. The only thing that's was bad was the carpet. Definitely needs updating.

The restaurant itself needs some serious updating!!! I can't believe its the restaurant for the Fairmount Sonoma Inn which charges several hundred for a room. Its only open for breakfast and lunch closes at 2. With that being said I had purchased a Travel Zoo voucher for lunch. For the price it included an appetizer and 2 entrees...For the appetizer... overall, very good food! This restaurant used to be a real "diner," serving hamburgers and shakes back in the day. They've obviously tried to modernize it, without completely giving up the vintage "feel," but it definitely lacks the setting to match the prices. We went for lunch and found starters and salads in the $16 range and all entrees in... More
