Fantastic!

Our intent was not to eat just about every meal here but when you have a 9 month old with you, and the food is awesome, things change. Before the family arrived my husband and I had dinner here on a Friday night. We sat in the bar area (as there were not 2 seats together at the bar) at... read more

The Carneros Bistro is part of the attractive Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance Resort. The dining area is comprised of a large room with a small bar and also an outdoor patio. The dining room is very comfortable. It has a contemporary décor and is furnished with white-cloth-covered tables and booths. The patio is nicely designed, stylishly furnished, and surrounded by... Stayed there for three days. Breakfast every day, dinner one night. The scrambled eggs were terribly dry. The omelet with mushrooms and goat cheese seemed to be missing the promised goats cheese. My wife has eggs Benedict that were "perfect" and pancakes that she had were good the next day. Now on to dinner! Ugly. We had a wonderful dinner... More

My husband and I had dinner here and it was lovely. I had the trout he had the chicken. We were just having one glass of wine so the sommelier was nice enough to let us taste a couple. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the Renaissance Lodge &Spa for 3 nights so used the Carneros bistro for breakfast and a dinner. The service was excellent, very friendly and efficient. In particular we had great dinner service from Desiree who gave us some great menu recommendations. The food was really good and in our view great value for money compared to other... More

The food was excellent, especially the creme brûlée trio! The service was friendly and fast once our order was taken.

I guess brunches are not as popular as they once were so when we asked the concierge for a recommendation, she recommended we drive to Sonoma from Napa to find one. Connected to the Renaissance Lodge, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful, including putting our large party in a separate room. The buffet offerings were really quite unremarkable. There... Over the course of our stay had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant - all good. Weekend breakfast buffet is great value. Staff both knowledgeable and ultra friendly.

We arrived here starving and in between lunch and dinner service. They accomodated us in the bar from the lunch menu. The bar tender/waiter and chef were wonderful with our gluten-free requests. The steak frites with truffle oil and hanger steaks were out of this world. I would love to return and try other items on the menu.

Arriving exhausted from our travel day we chose to stay close and dine here. What a treat. Our service was exceptional long with the food. Sorry we left the property the following night for a highly rated place that disappointed us! Wish we would have dined here that night instead.
