Excellent food, service and atmosphere.

Arriving exhausted from our travel day we chose to stay close and dine here. What a treat. Our service was exceptional long with the food. Sorry we left the property the following night for a highly rated place that disappointed us! Wish we would have dined here that night instead.

Carneros is located just outside downtown Sonoma at the Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance Resort and Spa. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast during our stay there. The staff is very professional and our server Liz was a delight. When we visited with folks in Sonoma town, we frequently heard them mention Carneros and how much they enjoyed it.

We stayed at the Lodge and decided to try breakfast here based on recommendation from a co-worker. We are glad we did! One of the best breakfast meals we've ever had. There were four of us and we all felt the same way. Keeping it simple I ordered standard Buttermilk Pancakes. Many restaurants don't make them good, either to soft... More

There are good classic dishes made with good ingredients that have different fusion twists to them - interesting combinations of flavours and presentations. The pizzas are also outstanding - good thin crust with flavoursome toppings. The wine list contains some great classics and some local finds. Staff are friendly and helpful from bringing a speedy Martini to advising on the... More

Had a very nice dinner and several wonderful breakfasts here as guest of the adjacent Lodge at Sonoma. Tried a number of items on the menu and all were good. This isn't the French Laundry, but is good value in a somewhat expensive region!

Good food, wood-fired grill and pizza oven, good service. Try the shrimp & grits, I really enjoyed it.

My wife and I have visited Sonoma several times over the past few years and we always look forward to a special meal at Carneros Bistro. We had such a memorable experience the last time we ate there that I'm compelled to write a review. We called ahead to reserve a table as well as our favorite server Kimberly who... More

Our first trip to Carneros Bistros was in 2009 for our 20th anniversary trip to Sonoma. We've been hooked from that point on! Since then we've been several times. Phenomenal food, wines, lodging, and customer service! Kimberly was our server in 2009 and we were ecstatic to have her as our server again in October 2014 when we returned for... More

Had dinner here during Thanksgiving week, town was very crowded and most restaurants were booked. My daughter in law who lives in Sonoma picked this place. Everything about this place was very good but very expensive. $10 for a bowl of soup. It was not very crowded for a Saturday night, so price may be an issue.
