Description: Fresh, Inventive Mediterranean and Iberian Cuisine in the heart of the Sonoma Valley Wine Country. Seafood and Portuguese Cuisine are our specialties. We offer a unique variety of fresh local and imported seafood specials daily including whole fish. The seafood selections on our menu are complimented by a variety of meat dishes ranging from the popular Pork Tenderloin stuffed with almonds, olives and figs to the, hard to find, Tripe Porto Style. Many of these dishes come steaming hot out of the wood-burning oven and fill the dining room with the exotic aromas of true Mediterranean cuisine. The menu reflects the commitment of Chef and Owner Manuel Azevedo to creating the unique culinary delights of his native Portugal and its neighbors. LaSalette Restaurant is proudly one of Zagat Surveys top rated restaurants in Sonoma. See our web site for the complete menu and a look inside our dining room, which features an open kitchen and decor that sends you back in time to old Lisbon.

Excellent restaurant. Seated quickly. Service was a bit slow - they seemed to be short wait staff. Very good menu, not huge, but good selection. The tomato water shot was a great way to start. Had the pork tenderloin and it was excellent - the fig stuffing made the dish. Solid wine list, with lots of local wineries listed.

We love Portuguese food and we made the best choice to have a beautiful dinner at their patio on a warm night in Sonoma. I had the delicious bacalhau and was surprised when my husband ordered a feijoada at night (we're Brazilians and usually a lunch dish), it was this exquisite gourmet feijoada with all the best ingredients you can... this restaurant tucked in a small ally near sonoma square. Outdoor and indoor sitting available. We waited for at least 15 minutes to be seated even on a week day night. It's quite a busy restaurant now we know why. The service is pretty good, and the main highlight would be the food. We ordered fish stew and fresh-made linguini... More

The small plates option is a great starter to split. The octopus was fantastic! Mains: pork tenderloin was delicious. Pasta with scallops were good, but lacked seasoning. The wine flights are such a great idea as well.

We went there recently on vacation. Had never tried Portuguese. We loved the tomato water "shot" that they gave us to start the dining experience. Very fresh. We dined on the patio. They had heaters to take away the chill in the air. Beef and pork were outstanding. Service was excellent. Would definitely go back.

This is one my favorite restaurants in Sonoma. It is small with inside and outside dining. The food is delicious and has Portuguese influence. The special whole branzino (seabass) cooked in the wood oven is delightful. The salads are nice and fresh. The feijoada is a special dish of the restaurant. Overall a great experience for Sonoma dining.

We were vacationing in Sonoma and though we were not looking for Portuguese cuisine per se, we stumbled across this rest. while browsing shops in the area. The menu posted outside caught our attention, so we made a point to return at dinnertime. They have indoor & patio seating. It's a pretty restaurant, with excellent food and friendly servers. Though... More

We were with friends from the San Francisco bay area and they suggested LaSalette for dinner based on what they had heard from others. What a perfect way to finish our wine trip. Neither my wife or I had ever had Portuguese cuisine, so we were not sure what to expect other than checking their web site. The food, service... More

What a find! This place is beautiful. Tucked away down an area away from parking with lovely outdoor seating as well as nice indoor, we had a gorgeous Portuguese meal. Everything was spectacular. It's authentic Portuguese flavors with an American-twist. Just amazing. Fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. Our service was great and the price was excellent for what you get.... More

that it took us the better part of two hours to have dinner, this is in excellent place to eat as far as I am concerned. Tucked away in a court off one of the streets - sorry I don't remember which - around Sonoma Plaza, it is easily missed in a casual walk. I am glad we had reservations,... More
