Description: Fresh, Inventive Mediterranean and Iberian Cuisine in the heart of the Sonoma Valley Wine Country. Seafood and Portuguese Cuisine are our specialties. We offer a unique variety of fresh local and imported seafood specials daily including whole fish. The seafood selections on our menu are complimented by a variety of meat dishes ranging from the popular Pork Tenderloin stuffed with almonds, olives and figs to the, hard to find, Tripe Porto Style. Many of these dishes come steaming hot out of the wood-burning oven and fill the dining room with the exotic aromas of true Mediterranean cuisine. The menu reflects the commitment of Chef and Owner Manuel Azevedo to creating the unique culinary delights of his native Portugal and its neighbors. LaSalette Restaurant is proudly one of Zagat Surveys top rated restaurants in Sonoma. See our web site for the complete menu and a look inside our dining room, which features an open kitchen and decor that sends you back in time to old Lisbon.

On a warm, sunny afternoon during our yearly trip to wine country, we ate with friends (locals) who dine here frequently. We decided to eat indoors and it felt as if we were somewhere in southern Europe. I have only eaten Portugese food in Portugal and thoroughly enjoyed it. This was a cut above in that it was described as... More

LaSalette features a wonderful take on Portuguese classics. From the seafood stew to balcalhao as well as a number of under appreciated Portuguese wines, it was a great experience.

I had never had Portuguese food until we had dinner here last week. This place is pretty impressive. The menu is virtually all Portuguese food. Our party of 4 sat outside in the early evening and we had a great time. By all means, try their "tapas" menu. You can have several small-plate items for $20-$30 or so (for a... More

We dined here on a recommendation from the hotel. we read other reviews and were a bit concerned. I am glad to report we had an outstanding meal and the service was fine..though they coyld have used another server that night. The portions are quite generous. Cucumber gazpacho is a savory delight on a summer evening. I had the dry boat... More

We never actually ate at this restaurant, even though we had a reservation and arrived 15 minutes early. We had chosen it because of good reviews, but mostly because of their patio where we could bring our dog. We had asked especially to be seated there, but when we arrived and checked in, they told us they couldn't guarantee a... More

Ate here on our recent trip to Wine Country. Recommended by the Concierge at The Fairmount Mission Inn. It did not disappoint. I loved the idea of the tasting menu for the appetizers. There certainly were some strange choices (blood sausage, pigs feet terrine, pigs ear salad) but we found 3 we liked (Serrano Ham, these really great beans (Tremoco-Lupini),... More

After the B&B reservation, dinner here is scheduled. Have a reservation in Aug 2014. We enjoy the outdoor seating and recommend it.

Definitely worth exploring! You find this little restaurant in the end of a courtyard. They have an interesting menu with Portuguese and Brazilian treats that are spiced with a nice touch. Wine list is excellent and there is also vinho verde available for e.g. summer lunches. It seems that the whole family is present to make sure guests enjoy themselves.... More

My husband & I loved the outdoor eating area with great heaters perfectly positioned so even on cool nights, you can stay warm! He ordered the steak, which seemed to be very popular with the men, because the men at both tables that surrounded us had it and I think they all wanted to literally lick their plates when they... I had the Fejouda; which was very good, and my wife had a blah Fisherman's Stew. The salad had too much kale(typical of the kale mania in the area); but the tomato plate was good. The sorbets were excellent.
