Fresh, Inventive Mediterranean and Iberian Cuisine in the heart of the Sonoma Valley Wine Country. Seafood and Portuguese Cuisine are our specialties. We offer a unique variety of fresh local and imported seafood specials daily including whole fish. The seafood selections on our menu are complimented by a variety of meat dishes ranging from the popular Pork Tenderloin stuffed with almonds, olives and figs to the, hard to find, Tripe Porto Style. Many of these dishes come steaming hot out of the wood-burning oven and fill the dining room with the exotic aromas of true Mediterranean cuisine. The menu reflects the commitment of Chef and Owner Manuel Azevedo to creating the unique culinary delights of his native Portugal and its neighbors. LaSalette Restaurant is proudly one of Zagat Surveys top rated restaurants in Sonoma. See our web site for the complete menu and a look inside our dining room, which features an open kitchen and decor that sends you back in time to old Lisbon.

Delicious Portugese dining experience.

My wife and I had dinner here for the first time and were very impressed with the up-scale atmosphere and especially the top-notch quality of delicious food. They offered a wide variety of tasty Portugese meals, and we have rarely had pork tenderloin so wonderfully prepared. It was superb! They... read more

I guess the food is good...if you like "odd" items...like Pig Ears, whole fish, baby octopus...and other oddities. For my taste (which is admittedly Texan) I would rather not. Nothing on the menu appealed to me, but it's probably great if you like that sort of foo foo food and like paying $$$. I'll pass.

We had the fishermen's stew and sea bass. Both were excellent. We found the service very professional and would eat there again.

Went here for lunch and we both had the Sea Bass. It was excellent with a very nice presentation. Staff were friendly, attentive and very nice. Reservations are recommended. We had to leave a credit card deposit a few days earlier which we weren't crazy about but the place is small and I can understand.

Nice cozy place. Busy - we had a 30 min wait. Food is good but a tad overpriced. Loved the Sardines.

We eat here several times a year. The food is fresh and delicious. Fish is always awesome. I have food allergies and they always make it work. And the waitress is really solid. The room is small but pretty, and open to a courtyard. Right off the square. One of the best restaurants in Sonoma. And I'm a local.

We really enjoyed the food and the service at LaSalette. A discovery down a little lane with a nice al fresco eating area. We really enjoyed the share plate, and both enjoyed our selection of the scallops and the beef soup. Would have loved a dessert but have to decline sometimes! Great value too! Thank you!

Food was good but different, different flavors. a Portuguese restaurant. Depending on your palette whether you'll like it or not.

This place has a great location near the old town square. We came for a late lunch and had no reservation, but they were able to seat us at the bar, which was better because it has a great vibe and we were right next the the warm wood oven (it was unusually cold even for December in Sonoma). La Sallette has to be my favorite place to eat...you know the one when its your birthday or a guest comes to town and when you have so many excellent restaurants in the area, but this is is the place to go. Besides from the fact that I Grew up in a Spanish family and many recipes remind me of... More
