We had a romantic dinner here on an overnight stay in Sonoma and it was just fantastic. Delicious food throughout and excellent service. Wine, as you'd expect, was phenomenal. We'll be back in Sonoma in mid-October and we'll be trying to book a table for dinner here again.

We headed to the square in Sonoma thinking we would like to have a bit of brunch. We parked and decided to cruise until we found something interesting. When we hit "the girl & the fig" we felt we had found our "nest" and went into the restaurant. It has a great relaxed atmosphere. We ate inside, but as we... More

After a nice afternoon in Sonoma Vally, visiting wineries, this restaurant is the perfect place to have a fanciful dinner. The menu is wide and rich of seasonal dishes. There is also a weekly menu very convenient and tasty. We started with a mix of cheese (cow, sheep and goat) coupling with some jam and dried figs, very delicious. Then... More

We have a great lunch at this restaurant in Sonoma. The service was spot on, the food came to the table hot and fresh ( I had the soft shell crab appetizer which cools quickly) and the wine pairings were excellent. Both indoor and outdoor dining available. Highly recommend for foodies and otherwise. Really something for everyone. On the corner... More

When we lived in Sonoma we would sit on the couches almost every weekend and order food and drinks. The people watching is also superb. Their lavender mojitos are amazing and our attempts to make them at home have been epic failures. The grilled cheese, quiche or fish specials have always been my go to, all are delicious. You cant... We stayed in Sonoma a the end of a weeklong California trip. We had LOTS of excellent food, and I was afraid that with the notoriety of this restaurant, I would be disappointed, but it was by far the best meal we had. We sat outside and it was just the best ambience we could have imagined. Everything about the... More

This was our second visit in as many years and we were not disappointed. The food is outstanding and the outdoor courtyard lends itself to a casual, intimate dining experience. By far, our favorite eatery in wine country. Don't miss!

We liked this place altho it is a little expensive. but probably not out of synch with the area. The wild flounder dish was among the best flounder I have had and I am very very picky about fish/seafood. We ate outside and service and atmosphere were very good. Contrary to some other recent reviews, we did not feel rushed.... More

The last night we were in Sonoma, our group of 6 had dinner at the girl & the fig. Dinner was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their salads and entrees. We had an excellent bottle of champagne to celebrate a birthday, followed by a bottle of wine, which they allowed us to bring. There was a small corkage fee. I thought this... More
