We had the duck confit and short rib entrees. They were both over the top good. Service was friendly and professional - our waiter was very attentive and helpful picking a wine. It was a perfect dining experience.

Girl and the fig is always good. My favorite place in Sonoma, great hamburgers, mussels, salads, service is always impeccable. The cheese plates and wine options are my favorite part.

Having made reservations, that were based on friends advice, before our trip began we did not know what tot expect from the uniquely named restaurant. It was the middle of the week and the crowd was what one might expect on a Friday or Saturday night and off season to boot. It is not a real large place located diagonally... More

I think eclectic is almost the appropriate adjective to describe the menu. Very enjoyable but quite different!

Loved the vibe of this place....a stylish, fashionable but relaxed setting. The service is accessible but professional, and the food and drinks were simply wonderful. Enjoyed a "Fig Fashioned" cocktail, and a wonderful dish of short ribs. We had eaten at a San Francisco hot spot the night before (nopa), but the girl and the fig was far more enjoyable,... More

We met out-of-town friends for lunch. We were lucky enough to be seated promptly and the staff was very attentive. Tables were pretty close to each other, but that also provided the opportunity to ogle the fare ordered by others. Butternut squash soup was one of the specials and was delicious. I had quiche, and loved it!

This review might be dated, but memories from this cozy establishment remains fresh, as was the food. Busy, busy, busy, but once seated on a comfy sofa with inviting pillows, we were ready to explore the menu. Ordered a variety of dishes from a platter of cured meats and cheese, to a bowl of mussels and frites, to a flounder... More

Located virtually right on the Sonoma Plaza, The Girl is a good dinner place. They were very busy on a Tuesday night, so reservations are recommended. The restaurant is touted for having French cuisine with a California twist. Based on my experience, it was more California with a French twist. The dining room is fairly crowed and noisy, but the... It had been 10 years since last I ate at this restaurant. It really was an amazing meal with great atmosphere. This past New Year's we went to Sonoma to celebrate. I wanted to check out the Girl & The Fig, so we did. What a disappointment! The scene was a madhouse, the hostesses were clueless on how to negotiate... More

We selected this restaurant based on reviews, and the reviews were right. The menu choices are rich and wonderful. I had he Flounder sautéed in brown butter - it was awesome. One of our guests at our table enjoyed steak and the other two had interesting sandwiches. Go and see for yourself. This place is worth the wait (we didn't... More
