A very pleasant luncheon.

While visiting Sonoma, on the spur of the moment, we decided to have lunch at the restaurant. Service was very good. My wife had the quiche which was ethereal. She expected the usual quiche (somewhat dense), but this was almost soufflé-like. I tried it, and it really was excellent. I had two... read more

Fast service with friendly workers. No special menu for kids but I recommend you to share the daily menu with 2. Also sharing the wine tasting is good option.

I had been here before for a wonderful brunch, so brought an out of town friend for dinner. The grilled brussel sprouts, wine (suggested by the very knowledgeable server), and chocolate covered figs were fabulous. Both of our entrees and the winter salad were bland - probably wouldn't order them again. Stick with the brunch or try something suggested by... More

The restaurant was highly recommended by several people. We came here for dinner and really enjoyed the experience. They gifted us with fresh bread that was delicious and olives that we thoroughly enjoyed. The grilled brussel sprouts were incredible. My wife had a croque mon sieur which was tasty and filling. My flat iron steak was tough and very chewy.... More

Great food, more than the average restaurant, fancy food without being pretentious. Tables quite close together, felt slightly over aware of neighbouring tables at certain points, but it did have a great general buzz and atmosphere. Service good, not super friendly, but polite and pretty attentive.

The bartenders I've encountered are too casual and have no old school skills and often wipe their hands on their faces. Ugh.

Thank you Sondra and the Girl & the Fig staff for an outstanding lunch yesterday! I can assure you, if you are planning on visiting here, you will be taken care of. My experience started when I booked a reservation online- very easy. However, I had to add another person to our reservation and it was quickly changed with the... More

The food here was certainly above average, but our service was so slow, it really detracted from the overall experience. A dinner for four that should've taken maybe two hours lasted well over three. The restaurant was busy, but our service didn't pick up even as the crowd started to thin. I'd give the girl & the fig another chance,... More

A very good place to hit after a day of wine tastings. Huge nice of cheeses and apps. I shared a salad with my friend and they gave us more than enough for us to have on our own. The pan seared fish our server recommended was light, flavorful and cooked perfectly. It was well lit and nicely decorated. I... More

Having a hard time rating between Very Good & Excellent. Will default to very good b/c the entire meal was very good, with parts that were beyond Excellent. First, listen to your waiter on the suggestions. They want to make your experience as impeccable and memorable as possible. I got cocky & didn't listen to him, thinking I knew what... More
