Excellent Food, Excellent Service

We were in Sonoma for a day and a half and ate at this restaurant twice. It's always crowded and for good reason. For lunch we were walk ins and sat at the bar. It was delightful! We had wine flights and a cheese plate and sandwich. The bar tender was great and even offered a few extra pours... read more

After a day of wine tasting we stopped in on this hyped restaurant. Worth the hype so make a reservation. We walked in on a Sunday around 6pm with no reservation and were fortunate enough to get seats at the bar (there was an available reservation at a table for 8:45pm). The bartenders create some interesting cocktails- I had one... More

Since I don't live in Sonoma, I eat a full meal at the Fig only once in a while. But when I do go, it is solo most of the time, though I have had great experiences reserving a few weeks in advance and having lunch or dinner with a party of 4 or more. So as a solo diner,... More

My husband and I visited the girl & the fig on our first night in wine country, which also happened to be our anniversary- and we could not have been more pleased with our decision to go here! It was perfect, start to finish. We made reservations and were seated right away, when we arrived. They sat us on their... More

A trip back in time set in the heart of Sonoma. After a sunbaked afternoon meandering through the vineyards of sonoma make your way here. There's an old world charm to the place with a vibrant cuisine to back it up. Make sure you've carved out some time for a lazy meal. The service is excellent and experienced but the... More

Our dinner experience pleased three generations, who enjoyed three different dishes. Super fresh ingredients. Excellent wild flounder munière. Service on the enclosed patio was just the right amount of attentive.

This is one of the best meals we had while visiting California. My partner and I both love the "earth to table" idea which seems to be at the heart of this restaurant. The food is delicious - rustic, high quality and local ingredients - and the vibe is friendly, artsy, eclectic and casual. Dining at a restaurant called "The... More

Customer service did not live up to our expectations -- you need to book your reservation way ahead to get in. We had flat, impersonal service from a disinterested staff who seemed to come and go with little enthusiasm or eye contact with our group of three. A second after our long awaited goat cheese appetizer was set down, the... More

Great food, good quality ingredients, professional, friendly service, good wine selection. Friendly vibe with a touch of French Flair with Californian honesty.
