I entered a very busy locale, sat at the one seat at the bar. The bartender was very knowledgable on his local wines and offered me a glass of white. Being 3/4 sheets to the wind from being on a wine tour , I ordered a salad with cranberries and candied nuts, and a house pasta with a corn sauce.... read more

Heard great things about this place. We dined one evening inside in very tight quarters. I ordered the daily prix fix special of fava beans and then shrimp. The fava beans were nothing I could not have done on my own cooktop, just sautéed in a pan with no seasoning. The shrimp was delicious, but I did not enjoy the... More

Our experience was actually a catered lunch as part of one of our wine tours. The selection of sandwiches/salads/desserts were great. All the ingredients seemed very fresh. We will definately go to the actual restaurant next time.

Foodie kind of place. Local and seasonal choices are the best. Vegetarian options, tough for vegans. I thought the fresh cut corn sauce with pasta was excellent. The local cheese plate was nice too. They made good cocktails as well. I liked the Sonoma mile. Went mid afternoon and there was a half an hour wait. Prices are what I... More

We were really looking forward to eating at this restaurant. The menu is always changing which is exciting but I must say what we had to eat was very underwhelming (we each did the 3 course meal). Service was also very underwhelming. We did wine pairing with dinner and the wine came halfway through completion of whatever course we were... More

After a long day at the wineries we wanted to order some food and take it back to our room. We ordered the burger and had a wine flight and Moscow mule while we waited. The wait was quite long but our waitress was attentive, apologetic and kept us informed. This restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and was a definite... More

If you go on a day when they offer brunch, order the brie-stuffed, bacon-encrusted french toast. It is fantastic. I'm thinking about heading up to Sonoma on a random Sunday just for that dish!

This was now our 4th time and we have made it a tradition whenever we go to anywhere near Sonoma to go out of our way to eat at "the girl & the fig". If you are staying in Sonoma, plan both a lunch and a dinner. Certainly a testimony to how great the food is the simple fact that... More

Great service and great meal. The paté was delicious and the cocktails were sublime. Our meals were wonderful and not too small, which can happen at trendy restaurants. Great bar scene as well.

Charcuterie is king at girl and the Fig on the plaza in Sonoma wine country. Delectable selection. Add a couple artisan cheeses. Heaven. This place does 900 meals a day between 11 and 11. Must be doing something right
