Great corporate dinner with Girl and the Fig Suite D

I was part of a team that coordinated a corporate offsite. We contacted Girl and the Fig about having a dinner for 50. I've previously been to the restaurant and had a great meal. They couldn't accommodate a group that size at the restaurant, however, they offered us catering at Suite D which is... read more

This is a hopping restaurant. Food and atmosphere great. Hostess not much of a personality but it may have been an off day. Met some nice people and had some great conversations.

Excellent meal and excellent service. Waiter was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. Loved the "Rhone Style" wine list. If you are in Sonoma you need to eat here.

This restaurant has so much going for it but they grew to big to fast? The over flow from the inside goes outside and you are surrounded by plastic! Yes its just like being in a kids birthday bounce house! The plastic makes the noise factor much worse. The food is very good and the price is reasonable for what... More

The Girl & the Fig was hands down the best meal we had in Sonoma! Every other meal paled in comparison. We had the short ribs and the steak frites. Both were cooked to perfection with incredible flavor. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! The service was a little lacking, but hopefully it was just an off night... More

This is a gem of a restaurant. An absolute must when visiting Sonoma. Highly recommend flounder, but everything we ordered was outstanding. The service was just a nice. Sit on the outside patio if available!

It was a warm sunny Sunday filled with brilliant sunshine when we wandered into The Girl and the Fig. Luckily we had made reservations. The place was packed...but in a good, bustling way. We had a late lunch. I had a fried chicken liver salad with a delightful salad of local greens and a glass of wonderful rose. My friend... More

Service was good. There is almost no choice for vegetarians. I ordered Grilled cheese Sandwich came with match stick fries. The sandwich was very oily and pretty non impressive. The non alcoholic drink was good. I am sure they have good choice for people who can eat meat but won't recommend for vegetarians and vegan..

We dined on a Thursday night, table for 2. We were looking forward to a nice evening, but seated 18 inches always from a party of 7 made for a miserable experience, and we had made reservations! We ordered the beet salad, the arugula salad, the flounder and the house specialty - duck. All were just ok. The only thing... More

I visited The Girl and the Fig based on reviews here. As soon as we arrived into the outside courtyard area the vibe was genuine and warming. The service was exceptional and our meals spot on. With a warm winter’s sun bearing down on us; it was hard not to lap up every bit of the atmosphere. From start to... More
