Pretty Darn Good

Came here for Lunch as soon as they opened and sat outside in the courtyard. Overall nice not fancy or anything. Service was good throughout, although it took a little longer than I'd like to get my check considering they were not that busy. The food was excellent, I ordered the Sea Bass and my... read more

Reservations are a must at Della Santina's. It is small, with several rooms that wind around through an enclosed alley. The menu is easy to understand, which is not so common in Sonoma. The bread is served promptly and the wait staff was very cheerful about explaining items and making suggestions. My husband had the lasagna; he is usually very... More

The Hub's and I ate here on our wine country get away. Nice location right off the square in Sonoma. We walked up and it smelled heavenly, nice first impression. We were hoping for patio seating but when you make last minute reservations you don't always get what you want. We were seated in the front Parlor of the restaurant,... More

I needed to get away because of a recent tragedy in my life. I dined here for lunch. The waiter was charming and the food was delicious. I am certain the last time I had my IPhone was when I laid it on the table. I returned the next day to inquire about by phone and my waiter, who had... More

This was the one place that we went that we felt was made for tourist only.We both ordered the wild salmon special over risotto. The salmon did taste good but was very small. The risotto also was a small amount and very watery. We ate in the courtyard out back and that also was not a very appealing area. This is the one... More

My husband and I ate here during our stay in Sonoma. We are big foodies. The food was good, not great. The bread was good. Service was okay. It took a long time to get a server to come see us, but that typically isn't a big deal for us. I would recommend it if you are looking for Italian... More

Good little Italian food place. We really enjoyed the tortellini! That was our favorite part of the entire meal. We really wished we had just made a meal of tortellini and bypasses all of the other stuff.

We were 6 for dinner. 4 out of the 6 were happy with their meals. Roasted chicken was over cooked. I hate sending things back. It just throws everyone off on their meals.

Pretty standard menu selection but the service and food are wonderful. They have to be, to make it in Sonoma. It's a bit pricey considering that they are located in a strip mall with minimal outdoor seating and nothing close to a nice view ... but that's Sonoma for you, and they do take care to make authentic, fresh food.

DINE in a Italy..Sonoma Style!. ... Be sure to speak with the waiters to find out the specials of the day....also what they recommend. The patio is lovely, quiet and serene. Great service and delicious food. Worth planning a trip there and be sure to leave time to walk around the Sonoma Square
