We went to Cafe La Haye on a Tuesday evening. I was surprised to see every table full! It is quite small, with a dozen or so tables and a small kitchen with just two chefs working it (there wouldn't be room for more!). The bar offers wine only, with an option to bring your own for a small corkage... more

Cafe La Haye is tiny, but well worth the effort of reserving (which you'll need to do) as the food was outstanding, the service very good, the wine list fantastic. There were no more than a dozen tables or so (different sizes, 2-, 4- and 6-tops) as well as a few stools at the "bar" - which is really the... more

Was in Sonoma for five days at the end of March. The first evening there I took a chance and showed up at Cafe La Haye without a reservation and was seated immediately by a very welcoming host. The service, meal, ambience and wine were excellent. Only regret was not going back during my stay there. I will know better the next... more

This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. The dining room is very small, so plan ahead. Their menu and wine list are small, but very well thought out. The host is warm and welcoming and the staff is attentive and very knowledgeable. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals and the entire evening. I highly recommend... more

Funny to see such negative reviews here among some good ones. We had a great dining experience at Cafe Le Haye. We were seated right away (with a reservation) and had a delicious meal. Portions were just right and the service was excellent. It was very small inside, but that just gave it a European feel to me. Only one... more

Our concierge at the Fairmont Mission Inn steered us away from the Generals Daughter Restaurant to Cafe La Haye. I had not read the reviews posted herein so I did not know not to listen. We reserved at 8pm on 7/17. The restaurant is severely understaffed. Our waitress was very very nice but stretched thin hurrying between tables & the... more

I am a local and had heard many raves about this place. I got my two girlfriends to meet here for a girls night out. When I arrived, I had to wait to be seated for my 715pm reservation. There was NO place for me to wait. I was stuck in a corner by the cashier/waitress area..it felt pretty awkward.... more
