Small place just off the Plaza with what is considered Sonoma's best kitchen. Just a few tables, so booking here can be tricky.

I traveled from DC with two girl friends to Sonoma and this was my favorite place to eat. We were on a budget so this was a splurge for us but it was totally worth it- about $50 per person after tip. The hospitality was fantastic and the food was incredible. The staff gave us excellent recommendations on food pairings.... More

No reservation, but we walked by and suddenly we were seated by the bar in a full restaurant. Great food, great service, one of the two best restaurant meals I've had in the USA.

My husband and I dined here over Valentine's Day weekend and it was great! We started out with the butter lettuce salad, which was the best salad I've had in a long time and the oysters which were baked to perfection. Then we had the sausage pasta and I ate every bite and my husband had ahi tuna and it... More

My boyfriend and I spent a romantic weekend in Sonoma in Feb 2014. We went to La Haye for dinner and had a fantastic evening! The food is outstanding! And the interior is white, elegant, but still cozy/friendly. And it's also relatively small and quiet - which is great for a romantic dinner! We can absolutely recommend it!

Cafe La Haye is a small, pretty restaurant just off the square in Sonoma. The staff was very welcoming, and our server was amiable and knowledgeable. My husband loved the oyster bisque appetizer; a small bowl of richly flavored bisque was served with one large, breaded, deep-fried oyster. My beet salad was also tasty. The horseradish cream was a nice... More

We just love Sol and his Cafe La Haye..it's small, intimate and the service and food are always top notch..just make sure you make a reservation. We took family members there for their first visit and they were delighted...pork loin..risotto with leeks..steak..salmon..but leave room for the best cheesecake I have ever had in my whole life. Made with some fruit... More

They had a wonderful variety of salads and a pasta dish with pork that melted in my mouth. Plus it was within walking distance of my B & B. I'd definitely eat here again.

I don't know about you, but after 5 days of non stop wine tours, I want something besides wine to drink before dinner. So we were disappointed to be seated and realize this restaurant doesn't have a bar. The decor is cool - white walls and great artwork, and just a few tables. The menu is limited, but well balanced.... More

Our visit to Café La Haye was superb. This is a very small restaurant and the owner - Saul Gropman was wonderful. The food and the service was wonderful. The wine list was great and we were also able to bring one of our bottles we purchased that afternoon at Caymus. A very reasonable corkage fee. We will absolutely be... More
