This was our first restaurant during our Sonoma/Napa trip. What a gem! The restaurant is small and quaint; the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was terrific...the wine, fantastic! We will definitely return.

Just off the main square in Sonoma, we found this little jewel. Sal, the owner, was very accommodating for or party of six. This is a small restaurant, but oh so nice. Very nice wine selections for every price range. We had a pork, lamb and a chicken dish. All were fresh and divine. We shall return.

This gem in the heart of Sonoma is a true pleaser for foodies. The space though small, with a kitchen even smaller, is cozy and inviting with food so delicious we can't wait to return. We ordered a beef carpaccio appetizer (delicate and tender) served with a bit of pesto spaghetti and fried mozzarella on top. Fresh heirloom tomato salad... More

Recommended by a friend, Cafe Le Haye was first on our list. The food was good, but not without some problems. The pork chop was flavorful but overcooked. The wine was the most surprising - we tried two different wines by the glass and both were awful. In wine country at an expensive small restaurant, we expected great wines.

My husband and I ate dinner at Cafe La Haye during our last trip to Sonoma. To sum it up in one word - Amazing! I had the heirloom tomato salad (a special) and the chicken entree. My husband had the mushroom soup (a special as well) and the work chop. Each dish tasted fresh an full of flavor. The... More

So glad we made recommendations. Fresh ingredients & delish entrees. Before or after dinner you can walk around the town center and shop.

This was a special surprise in an area that does not lack for good food. A welcoming host, great service, and fresh, tasty food. Fish, pasta, sauces, dessert were all so creative but not over done. One of the best meals in California! Would recommend and will definitely return.

After reading the reviews I booked this well in advance of our trip to Sonoma to celebrate my husbands birthday. The menu is limited to start with, and when we arrived for our 8:30 reservation several of the menu items were sold out, which meant we ordered things we would not have tried otherwise tried. The artichoke soup and the... More
